Bud Production

Hey all, I have a simple question I could not easily search for and was hoping to get a decent answer from you guys.

When the plant is in the flowering stage, if you pollinate it, rather than not pollinating, would it produce less bud, less growth, or less THC? Or all of the above?

For instance, I have a lowryder #2 near finish atm and it does not compare (height, bud production, trichomes) to some other similar Lowryder #2 grows. The only main difference is that I have pollinated my females and they have not (as far as I know).

Thanks in advance for the help! :weed:

its is written that seed production hastens thc production. The bud weighs more because of the seeds. Good genetics are worth alot of money and in my experience the bud is still full of thc, just fucking caked. Seeling seeded bud can b hard as some people dont like to buy seeds, but some will love it. Do it, its a must for every grower to experience.

Well its not about selling it. I am pollinating for a seed stash. I was wondering if my next grow (un-pollinated) would yield more or less than this grow which all females have been pollinated.

And thanks for the reply Hect, nice little bit of info I didnt know there...

Still looking for an answer on the original question though

yes...seed production stops calyx and resin production..the plant is now focusing all its energy in seed production....
