G'day

I was recently running a couple of dwcs in 4 gallon buckets. Due to security issues I have to significantly drop my height so can't afford to have such tall buckts.

I was wondering whether I could use 4 gallon bucket/container which was only 4-5" heigh? As in container will be about 14" long x 14" wide x 4-5" heigh?

Cheers

It will be good. I grow in the red plastic bins from BK miller. the roots will adapt to growing sideways.

if you are gonna do that you might as well get like a 20 gallon or 10 gallon tubs from lowes and try finding the shortest 1 then you will be able to grow more in such a small space

ok do it your way my man how many can you grow ppl out in cali have permits for 99 plants a time not me tho :) but what you can do is keep a perpetual harvest like have as many mature plants as your PERMIT allows and 12 immature plants so that you harvest the amount your allowed to harvest then put those in flower and you got yourself a perpetual harvest HAPPY late 420

You can do this for sure. I have grown a 3.5 foot plant in a half gallon container DWC. a 14x14x4 ~ 3.4 gal. I dont see a problem with this.

i wouldn't go above 3 plants. anything 5 or more is instantly considered trafficing, and theres a tendency for cops to count any cuttings and leaf matter they find as entire plants. so i'll do 2 and a mother.

thanks guys, i was worried i would have to start buying again.
