Bubblenow or tumblenow?

I am going to be buying either a bubblenow machine with 5 gallon bags, or a tumblenow so I wanted opinions on what you would go with. I have quite a bit of experience with bubble hash, and no experience with dry sift. I am looking for the best quality but yield is important too so which would you go with?

I would go with bubble if your looking for yield and quality. Dry sift isn't known for high yields.

Bubble now is a rip off. Just get a panda portable washer from amazon. Same thing. They just slap a bubble now sticker on it and raise the price. Make sure to get all 8 bags too. Also If you're going for a 20 gal washer then the bubble now isn't a bad deal. The 5 gal is over priced.

For sifting just buy screens from a silk screen supply company. The tumble now will get smaller yields than sifting by hand. Get a 180 lpi, 125 lpi, 86 lpi, 61 lpi. Same sizes Cuban grower uses. Slow dry your material for 3-4 weeks. (Dry a cold temps 65 degrees or less) Then cure for 2 - 3 months so the trichome heads completely dry. Then sift by hand.

I dont make bubble hash often but when i do i layer ice and weed in a bucket, fill with water and put it into the frezzer, wait 24 hours, defrost give a couple of twirls then pass through bags. Get 0 plant material in it and iof i remember correctly very acceptable returns. I wish my phone wasnt fucked and i could show a pic.

Thanks, but iam very familiar with the process of making bubble. I am just tired of mixing by hand so that's why I am looking at the bubblenow machine. I have read that dry sift can be a more pure product, but I don't have any experience with making dry sift so I am curious if the tumblenow machine will make better hash without compromising yield too much.

Watch hash church episode 65 at 37 min mark . Cuban grower explains his dry sift method. It's pretty much what I said above.

Theres literally no hand mixing with the way i explaines, i just literally freeze the whole bucket and defreeze and allow for the difference in mollecule size with the temperature difference brealk the trychomes. Give it a try you might be surprised.
If you really want a machine dont go froa brad name, get a good camping washing machine, insulate it then make your bubble in the artic.

Also hand sifting is muuuch better than any machine, ask any moroccan or afghan hash makers

Never heard of doing it that way but I am always open to new ideas.

I've never heard that method but I am always open to ideas. I will be making large amounts and I don't have a freezer big enough for a bunch of buckets but thanks anyways:)

I will have to look into the hand sifting thanks for the replies everybody. Has anybody used the tumblenow and speak from experience?

Are you making hash daily? Is it for personal or for production? If personal dry sift all the way. If production then go with the bags/machine.

and If you don't have bubble making equipment already I strongly urge you to grab yourself a couple dry sifting screens and call it a day.

Dry sift is cheaper and easier to make. A fraction of the cost for iwe and the end product is superior. One can easily spend upwards of $1000 to make and properly dry bubble hash. (bags, washer, baking pans, drying racks, ice trays, ice makers, ice, microplanes, sieves, freeze dryers, dehydrators, vacuums and the list goes on I could keep going). Dry sift all you need is 2 screens and some parchment and you're good to go. Plus no waiting 2 weeks+ for the shit to dry. There is also no room for error in drying and separation like with water hash which we see all the time on the forums.

Of course I will be keeping some for myself but will he "donating" most of it. It's been a while since I've made hash and don't have my bags anymore so I will be starting from scratch. Dry sift looks much harder to get a good product without much plant matter In it, but since I don't have experience with it I could be wrong. I will be going through a couple of pounds of trim a week and the dry sift seems much more time consuming also which is a concern.

Dry sift is really easy to obtain a high quality product but you are absolutely correct in that it is more time consuming.

good luck on your hash journey! Sounds like a job for the bags. :)

Just the physical work itself is less time consuming than bubble . You have to be very patient with sift as you have to wait months to run your material.

I've done this many times and I will say it works like a charm. Ahh the good ol days when I had material.. We had a thread going about it.

Alpha tech, overall I think it worked out really well and something I would continue to do if someone is NOT in a hurry.

@WarMachine damn didnt know there was a thread! The few times i done it that way i could literally dab the ice. I even thought about literally using a whole chest freezer as a bucket. You can literally fit 5 kg of material in there, a guy can make kilos of hash that way. Itd be fucking epic to freeze a whole freezer with ice and buds layered.
The only thing i miss from doing bubble hash is watching huge ounce hash blobs slowly have water drained and then smacking it onto the pyrex, fucking epic.
The rosin i made from hash made with this method was in the top 10 extracts id ever tried.
