I agree the hash deff goes a long way, I still have at least half the amount left and I've taken at least 15 hits lol. I wish my new bags would come already! Gahhh!

Don't forget to put the trim back in the jar after your first pour and add fresh water to do a second run, I keep forgetting to do this lol

Thanks Alpha! Ya it worked out really well! (As far as the ice lid) I still have it in the freezer until I get those bags! I gotta make sure to do a second run as well! The first time, after I ran it, I gave away the material from being to excited with my results lol.

Damn @GrowinDad .. I've done a bubble run once with nugs and to be honest it's a little harder (and more heart aching) than using trim. Yeilds should be great with nugs but you need to break them down a bit and such as opposed to trim they are just a single layer leaf. Personally, I'd take the material and try again and perhaps agigtate it a little more.. There is still gold in the material so don't give up on it. Worse case, dry it out and make oil :) Do you have any shake or trim as well?

@WarMachine, exactly what I was planning. I dried the raw material and am going to take a look under the scope to see what it going on there. Maybe just freeze it again after breaking it up.

Now I am getting a little confused on exact rec method. Freeze - thaw - freeze -thaw with some agitation. Run it through bags. Then are you sayin to wash the material again with water quicky and run through the bags?

While I didn't get much, the stuff I did get seems wonderful so I am not done. I have some leaf lying around but I use it for my meds for my dog. My grow is small, about 3-4 plants at a time. My popcorn/trim tends to go straight into e-juice. Right I am sitting on two jars of prime bud with crop two weeks into flower and about a month's worth of e-juice. So it is my time to hold onto my bud untl I see how these new straing turn out :-)

I would add water and freeze the material. Then let it thaw. Put the bubble bags in the bucket, 45u on the bottom and 220u on top of the 45u. Pour the material and water into the 220u bag and let it drain through the 45u. Take the 220u bag out and squeeze the material gently to get the extra water out. Now take the material, break it apart and put it back in the jar. Add fresh water. Freeze again and repeat the previous steps. This should yield you some great hash.

Happy Easter yall 8-)

Happy Easter Everyone!

@GrowinDad What I did is what @AlphaPhase did as well. I took the material and added water than proceed to freeze it. The next day I came, I took my ice block and threw it in a 1 gallon bucket that had relatively cold water. I just waited for it to thaw out in the water, every 20-40 minutes I would come by and give it a little stir. Nothing hard or vigorous, just like you would with spaghetti. I had another 1 gallon bucket, I took my 45u bag and put that on FIRST. Then I took my 160u bag and put that on next. Then I put my 190u bag. When my container that had the ice bucket all thawed out. I pour it into the bucket with the bags. Rinse the container that had the material de-thawing and pour it to the container with bags (just in case you missed anything). Pull up the 190 bag, let it drain, I squeezed it and such to get out the most I could from it. Then I went to the 160 bag, pulled it and it was basically empty. Pulled the 45u next and that's where my gold was! Collected the material, admired it a bit with a smile and just chopped it finely so it would cure and dry nicely.

What I would do next, which I didn't do was take the material from the 190u. And throw it in a jar and refreeze it and just do it over again. Why not? You can only get more out of it. If you don't feel like waiting though, just take the material again and just do a good ol' bubble run the old school way.

Hey frenchy! Much appreciate you stopping in on the thread! Hands down, you are the master, I've learned so much from you so want to thank you. I know this method is quite unorthodox. I have some nerve problems in my hand and sometimes it gets pretty bad. If I had a washing machine I'd probably never have thought of this idea, but since I don't have a machine and all my hash is made by hand, I created this idea to make hash with out any physical labor. I am actually surprised that the results are as great as they are. I've achieved some decent yields of full melt only using two bags, but there is much more to explore in the method. Soon I'll try doing multiple washes and see if the quality stays the same and yield goes up. I thought that the terpenes would have been affected from being in water for a while, but it seems they are very close to a regular hand stir quality.

Still waiting on my bags... hulk getting impatient.. Lol..

What bags are you all rocking? I know Frenchy uses custom bolt bags. I was gonna go for the bubble bags lite for bubbleman but then ended up going with a generic brand to see if I like the 1 gallon bags.

Dang man, i hear ya! I'm waiting on a couple things to come in the mail too and nor cal just got some snow today so of course my stuff was delayed :p I use the Payload brand, it's a cheaper brand but they work well, they were only 140$ for a 5gallon 9 bag set and I've already got a lot of use out of them and they look brand new still 8-)

That's some damn fine looking hash urbman! Like beach sand :)
