Yup thats right. Your local art store should have. The thing is they have them labeled under a thread count number... for example the 75 micron was the 220 Tct and the 25 micron was the 305 Tct. Do a search online for screen printing mesh specs. You should find out what to ask for there. After that its just cutting the bucket and adhering the screen.

Cheers
Oh yeah, baby. Now I just have to wait 6 weeks for harvest time!!!

lol about 4 weeks here! I'm in the same boat, I can't wait for the next batch. This is the first quality hash I've ever smoked and I love it!:eyesmoke: To be honest, I think I've made the decision to use one plant out of each crop (when possible of course, say 1/6+ crops) strictly for hash to increase the quality and yield........ OK maybe ill just throw in the smaller buds. No need wasting a 18" cola on something other than smoking... lol

Cheers.

how did you adher the screen the bottom of the buckets?
• Sand the edge of the buckets and place a nice fat bead of aquarium silicone along the outside rim.
• after cutting the screen to size (oversize) place on the bucket and press into the silicone bead.
• work the screen into the silicone until the screen is saturated and place 2-3 large fat rubber bands around the rim holding the screen in place til it dries. (Mine are still on the bucket, didnt even take em off)

ok I think thats it... I dunno why that came out in list form..bongsmilie

The only thing I was thinking of changing was to use fiberglass resin (or epoxy) to keep the screen on. That would be alot more heavy duty.

yea they only thing with using the chemical adhesives is that you then have the chance of the water breaking it down and getting into your results

Another tip on getting hash:

If you're buying material what you can do is buy a large piece of the final material (tight mesh) enough to stretch over and around the back of a super wide mouth bowl, and I do mean super wide. (4sqft of material might be good) Just wrap it like you're making a drum and stretch the material tight, then tie the 4 corners off on the underside of the bowl to keep it tight.

Take your bud after curing, the bud some of you might unoficially give away or sell not what you keep for yourself and dump it on the screen and play the drums on the material for a couple to 5 minutes or more so the weed keeps getting bounced like it's on a trampoline.

You'll end up with lots of hash and still have bud of the original weight that is saleable, just with fewer trich's on the outside. A win for you anyway, easy to do and instantly useable hash.

Just figured I'd add that if people are already going to buy material for the bubble buckets, which are cool nice job.

+ rep for you buddy... This was exactly what i had thought of and then i found this thread... awsome... Im trying to find the conversions... having a hard time... can you just give me the TCT for a 220 micron or 200..?? that would have been the last one i needed...lol... I can guess in between the 220 micorn one and whatever the 220Tct one to get a 170 something micron.... (thats the shit you give as presents...lol)

Thanks bro..

New here but great work. Hard to believe so many ideas can come out of being stoned :blsmoke:
This is a little off subject but what is the smoking difference, (amount, potency, best way to use or smoke it) between hash made this way and the hash oils? Also I saw a video on youtube where a guy grinded some bud or remains and took the light colored grindings and placed in a cigar wrapper and paper and pressed, cooked it for 10 minutes in the oven to make it a hard block. All these different ways I am not sure what is best?
Thanks for any help for redirects.

hash oil is a different process(i know very little about). basically you extract the BHO with a honey bee extractor and some butane fuel(make sure to get the high quality grade). as for potency compared to hash im sure it depends on how you make both and what they came from. the other process youre talking about is a more "ghetto" way to make hash. the buckets are for people who have alot of trimmings and want to make hash out of it. it will be much more quality than the heated up bud that the guy made because the buckets extract the keif. the video method is just a way to turn that keif into hash

Great job dude, very interesting

I am guessing: how much "green" you used to get that amount of powder, and how much was it in the end?

I mean: what's the conversion ratio?

---If you wrote it already, well I couldn't find it -- searched the thread twice :P ---

cheers
