Strain: Bubba Love ~ (Pre '98 Bubba Kush X Snowdawg Bx) from AlphaKronik
Growth: 5 weeks veg from reg' seed and 68 days of flowering here. Grown "passive hydro" using pot culture method in Coco. Topped once and left to grow with no training.
Very easy to grow plant with a good tolerence to nutes, feeds well and runs easy really with no major issues creeping up at all during the whole cycle. A good choice imo for the more novice grower looking for more quality in their med's rather than goin for the "usual suspect" strains that are around more lately. Spear shaped colas with tight structure and fast & early resin production too, that doesn't carry a strong smell in flower either which also goes in her favour for those who like to keep their neighbours out of the loop.
Not the most pleasing on the eye when it comes to her looks though really, tbh she didn't really stand out to me much in my flower room like a lot of the others did that I had in at the same time either. But the smoke is way more pleasing than actually growing it is and it did make up for that fact in the finished product.
Nutes: CANNA ~ Coco A+B, CannaBoost, PK13/14, Rhizotonic, Cannazym, CANNA - Monos ~ Nitrogen, Calcium & Magnesium and Superthrive.
Yield: Just under 2 ounces of dried & cured Buds.
Bag Appeal: Looks quite nice really, long compact bud's that are just covered in frosty resin too (see pic's).
Smell: Fresh lavender with undertones of fruity citrus and hash.
Taste: Instant soft hashy and fruity kick that coats the mouth in tastes of lavender & citrus fruit flavours to start that is very pleasing to taste and has a more of a hash/coffee like taste on the exhale. This is some very tastey smoke imo but is much more fruity with a good cure time.
The High: Soft, relaxing stoney feeling thats not too heavey on the body and gives a good all round effect/feeling of wellness in the smoker. Not the strongest high I've ever encountered and it doesn't really last too long either imo, around an hour at most. But you can smoke on this more as the day passes with little tolerence build up to get that more heavey eyed indica stone, and with the flavour/taste that this strain carries you just might find that this is the case too.
Comments: This strain for me was a case of it being better to smoke on than it is to actually to grow out really. The actual plants themselves didn't really stand out much to me as a grower but deffo made up for this in the end product. For me it was an average at best exp' but a good average and well worth the time I put in with her in the end. I'm gonna give this an 8/10 total score as the end product is whats seals it with this strain.
