I was just pricing that cal/ mag additive for hydro...Varies a lot in price. Got a hydro shop nearby?
I hate to answer questions with questions but that is what you need.(cal/ mag additive) ORGANIC hydro.

The nearest hydro shop is super far and the local hed shop might not carry that.

I'm sure it wouldnt hurt the equation.

I am at a loss here Cal/ mag is what you need. This whole hydro thing is sensitive. PH has to be considered so you can't just throw some dolomite in the rez.... Do you have PH up and down solution?

Yeah. Ph solution is no problem.

OK good, the PH Give me a link to the manufacturers page(the ph up and down stuff) and some product info. So i can look them up and see if they are Using calcium or magnesium and hopefully both.

Lots of times this stuff is common chemicals......It all is.

You know if the ph is "bad" the uptake of cal is screwed. I believe especially if it up to near 7. I assume you have tested the PH....Lately.

Yeah. the ph is around 5.4-5.6

Just a thought....Call the near by shop and ask them If they have cal mag +
or an = solution.

I think i'll do that. I doubt that the hed shop carries that though. Its worth a shot though.
