broke stem

so a light fell on my baby and severd the stem almost in half but still barely connected if i hold it together somehow with like elec. tape will it heal? no camera so i cant take any pics

depends on how bad it is broke man. If if is almost completely severed no water or nutrients will make it to any foliage above.

I broke one of mine pretty bad while bending it, I actually used glue to get it back together, the leaves above it suffered for a week or so but it healed back up and was fine.

ya thats what happened pretty much the light just bent it really bad and snaped the stem but its still connected so i taped it up with some high quality electric tape and it holds it self up like this and i have it leaning somewhat against the wall

it should be fine. you might want to even make some type of splint to keep it from bending any further. like tape a popsicle stick around the wound.

Duct tape will fix anything

if it completely detaches stick it in water, if its about to, do the same, maybe roots will sprout.. if its a light bend then it will heal up but if u snapped it in half like I did mine, ur best chance may be to hope it will develop roots in water

so its been a few weeks and nothing happend to it. Breaking the stem didnt do anything and all i did was tape it back together immeditaly, didnt stunt its growth or loses any leave at all. got lucky i guess
