Bringing outdoor plant in...

First time grow. Brought the seeds back from a vacation as it was the most wonderful stuff I had had.

I grew 4 beautiful babies outdoors this year... am about to harvest them. One problem... I didn't have any male plants to get seeds for next year's crop. Drat!

I, unfortunately don't have any leaves to clone my babies. The plants are ALL bud.... but gorgeous!

Wondering if I can cut the buds off... leave a few stems and bring them in for the winter. Hopefully get a few more leaves and then clone them.

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? HELP! I don't want to lose this strain...

Hi there....I'm a newbie too and I feel like I've gone nuts reading all I can about growing. I have one solitary afghan outside in a greenhouse. I'm hoping she finishes before frost really sets in. I am going to try a suggestion I received from another site. They said to cut the stalk, but leave a few of the popcorn on it. Then bring it inside and start the vegging process. With any luck, she will reverse back into growth mode and I can get her to produce a few clones for me. I figured, what the hell. Wasn't gonna do anything with the stalk anyway. If it works....great, if not. No matter.

Chop all your big buds off and leave small green growths here and there all over the plant,

Bring her inside and put under 18hrs of light a day and give it time, it will re veg

and can be harvested again. there is a thread about this on here some place.

I haven't personally done this but the guy who had the thread said the next harvest will be faster since you already have a root set and all.

Give it hell, what can you loose.

I do t really want to start a grow inside... I really just want to keep the
Alive so I can do a grow again next year.Get some clippings to clone. If I leave a few popcorn buds on it... Will those buds be garbage for down the road? Very special strain. It's three generations of rasta men getting their bud perfect. I laugh in the face of all those that's said seeds from the caribean couldn't be grown in southern Ontario.

Husalife here has it right. Be prepared to learn patience though, re-veg does work but takes forever.
