Brewing a tea with organicare pure grow...

hey hey, I heard my soil plants would love a tea brewed solely with Organicare Pure Grow (6 - 6 - 5 + 8% Ca.). Any tea experts have ideas on how much to use in the tea or potential effectiveness? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

The "normal" tea ratio for the Pure Grow should be about 1-2 TBS per gallon of water. I'd start with about 1TBS+ unless the plants are already pretty big and then see how much you can squeeze into them without burning with future feedings. Plants like variety and so keep an eye out for an alternative fert to use once in awhile. Problems often arise from piling on the same stuff throughout the plant's life.

i have it mixed in with fox farm happy frog soil, about 1 cup per gallon, and 30% perlite and tbs of lime. I transplanted vegging females 3-4 weeks old into 4 gallon pots with this mix in about a week ago. I have had nitro deficiency (new growth stunted and yellow), so when I heard the organicare can take a while to start working in the soil I thought the tea would be a good idea to get the nitro to the roots quicker. I put a bit more than 1 tbs in a gallon of ph'd water and I got the air stone in there. Thanks for the info, and about diversifying the nutrients, I am giving them foxfarm big bloom every third watering as well, I was planning on using the organicare pure bloom for flowering, but am open to suggestions. I'm a bit of a budget grower so that is limiting but I'm working around it.

I'm not sure I understand the question, are you talking about adding this to your tea? or making a tea from it?

If your making a tea with just Pure Grow in it, I don't think that's going to work you need something that can create the microbes and Pure grow is to feed the microbes in the soil not create them in a tea.

Now if you are adding to your tea that's different, and could be a good thing, but again I can't find any reference to make tea with it?

If no one experimented we would never move forward.
