Breeding question autoflower x photo strain

I have a question that I can't seem come up with a straight answer for.

I plan on doing a small PC grow this winter and I have some pollen from my S/I cross from this summer. In the PC I plan on trying out a few auto flower strains. I was thinking about pollinating a branch of each of the different autos over the fall / winter.

The question is, is the autoflower trait a dominant or a recessive gene?

Will seeds be auto, photo or unknown?

the auto gene is recessive i know that cos not all auto's-auto. but can't answer anything else.sorry
