so im looking into adding light to my flower room... and maybe even going sealed with c02.....i currently have a 600 hps for flower and 400 MH for veg ( im running 2 400s this time as i have twice as much room and girls....
heres what im thinking ... im getting a 1,000 hps with the raptor 8 dual bulb... i was thinking of putting both hps in it so id have 1,600 hps then on each side of the hood a 400 MH open bulb hanging down.... but inbetween the 400 and hood on both sides im thinking 2' 2 bulb T5 with UVB bulbs with 2 hrs running time set to mimic sun.... heres a pic of what it would look like..... 9'x5'x7 flower room 12 girls.... heres a sketch of my idea

Fireballs just got chopped, she was nice and faded. Pics up soon. Monster yield. Just need the camera to charge for a few minutes my stoner ass keeps forgetting to charge it when im done lol.

Thanks to @genuity and the guys at BB. This shit was a breeze to grow, no problems and a huge yield. Best 12/12 from seed plant to date. I'm probably going to be keeping this girl around for a while.

Have you ever revegged before? Hate to see you lose that girl. If you have any questions, dont hesitate to ask.

*i stopped taking clones, prior to flowering everything about a year ago. I now run it, if it is a keeper I reveg and then take clones. I have had 100% success with it

I have my method, some might say it is unorthodox but It works great plus minimal waste. *im stingy when it comes to my flowers, I hate wasteing!

I harvest my crop, literally leaving just the bottom couple of branches. Those bottom branches I will only leave a few popcorn nugs and try to save 2-4 mini fan leafs the size of a silver dollar.

I then transplant to the next largest size pot. I will breakup the root ball slighly, avoiding any major disruption. Just enough so that the roots arnt wound tight and can freely continue to grow out in the larger pot.

I then place lil ole stumpy into the veg cab, at the farthest point from the light source. I typically run a 20/4 light schedule, 18/6 or 24 would work fine, however I prefer that there is a dark cycle.

After finding its new home in the veg cab, i only give a light watering regularly as needed. At first she wont be that thirsty, so you may go upwards of 5 days b4 watering. Untill there is any new vegative growth I will only give her one solo cup of water per watering. I slowly water around the the plant closest to the potter. I do this so that way the roots have to work for the water and grow out and search. Kick starting your root growth is the first step to vegative growth.

Have patients, she could revert back within 2 weeks but I have seen them sit and do NOTHING for up to 5 weeks!

Good luck with 12/12 from seed. I'm going to compile some information over the next couple months and make a thread. I've topped 4 now and 1 didn't like it, may have topped it too late and stunted the stretch. But the others are stretching out quite nicely and distributing the buds. Monster colas like on that Fireballs scare me, especially with the summer humidity coming. Topping/fimming seems to be all about timing, want to make sure they are done before fully going into flower mode.

I think the one that didn't like it is going to be a ridiculous 6 inch plant. Might flower it out for curiosities sake.

If you have any Synergy's lying around from Bodhi the one I popped loved being topped. Looks like I vegged it for a month things 2 feet tall and stacking up like a boss.

Ahhh.....brings up a question: how soon [from pop] did you see first signs of flower?

2nd question: in your opinion, and I know it's probably a guess, but how much overall time do you think you saved from running the FB for 3 weeks of veg?

No Synergys here, but if I have good luck w/ the current 12/12s, I'll probably run 5 of B's ATF in the same manner just to burn them.

3-4 weeks from seed usually until sex shows. I don't know that I've "saved time" running this way, it's saving me space because I don't need the veg tent out, I guess it's saving me some pennies too on power I don't know if starting them in Solos gets them to sex quicker or not, going to start some seeds in 2 gallons and see the differences.

I suppose getting the males out earlier then normal and being able to start more seeds is a bit of a time saver.

looking for some tips for Fireballs and Sour Blues ( SKxBD) are they heavy feeders? are they touchy? ....my fireballs is looking beautiful!! it has a bonsai look and short stout nice full green ... i think its gonna be my fav .. well that and the dog and sour cherry.... out of the whole room... and i have 10 selects running... pic is fireballs

They have been heavy feeders for most.

my experience with th SK x DB has been they will take a lot of fertilizer no problem. I am using soiless drain to waste and I push them over 1000ppm late in flower with no burn.
