Branches keep snapping due to bud weight?

If you don't feel like tying every branch put bamboo stakes around the plant and tie string around those in a cpl area. It will act like a tomatoe cage if done right.

Use stakes and the green stretchy tape. I say tape over twist zip string in your case because the buds are onviously some nice chunkers and its possible the twist ties will just cut into the branch and probably fall over again. The tape wraps around a bigger area of the stake and will give it better support.

You could also go to hydro shop or try find the YoYo's online. You can hang em off your reflectors/hoods and they will hold branches up really good and they are fully adjustable with locking Center pegs. Just make sure you go and get the ones with the removeable center peg (usually white color with orange/red hooks) I find that they work better than the yellow ones with the push spring pin they malfunction and break easily. The yellow ones also dont wind up good after a few uses but they are cheaper. The nice thing about the YoYo's is that you can use them for support during flowering and hang em from the top down. Or when youre in veg you can clip them from the sides of your pots and attach them to branches to train and spread the plant open to let the light penetrate the plant canopy.

You could also setup some trellising carefully. IDK what week youre in if your about finish than not worth it but if you have few weeks left it will help. Anything that can support the stalks and hold up your chunkers is gonna be good.

Youre not having any weak stems and hollow stalks are you? I know early on years ago when I was starting to grow heavy I wasnt using silicates or enough calcium and didnt understand how important it is to make sure you build up strong stalks and branches.

Which is why it is so important to supercrop and snap your branches throughout veg and early flowering so they develop rock hard knots in the stalks which can support huge colas without having to worry about snapping anything. I constantly snap and twist all the stems and branches on all my plants from the 2nd week veg thru 2nd week of bloom. And supercrop the shit out of everything. It also helps reduce the stretch in bloom during first few weeks if you see them getting really take off. It works wonders.

Sounds like you have a good problem on your hands either way! Chunks snapping your branches sounds like a good time (pending they arent completely snapping and falling down drying and dying haha).

Right now you have no choice but to secure the heavy tops to a string above or stake individual tops. Next time try to keep them shorter during veg and early flower so the buds develop closer to each other from top to bottom.

Ive grown some very large colas like softball sized chunks and never had anything literally snap. Ive seen em bend and look like they were gonna fall over but never "breaking limbs".

But it is possible i guess to happen. But probably more likely that you brushed by them or moved something and they snapped. Stalks and branches are usually pretty rigid and sturdy as buds wont really get any bigger than the branches are able to produce but hey you never know.

Some strains yiu can tie in a knot others are very woody and snap like a thin pencil. However.....look at his last bud shots..nothing special.. and ive had colas 8" diameter few feet tall indoors on thin stems

I found them I think it was just one small picture right? He looked like he was in week 3 when was the picture taken? Im hoping 4 weeks ago if he says he is snapping branches from buds because those def arent far enough or large enough if they are recent photos I assume?

Any who was that stuff you showed on that razor blade from screen drying and sifting w the wax paper on a DVD case? Thats some primo right there looks yummy.

Wire works but when you got heavy colas pulling down branches the wire sometimes digs into the stalk and can cut it. I like garden tape the green stretchy stuff for things like that. But they both will work.
