Branch snapped off

I had a flashlight fall off a top shelf and take out a whole branch that i was hoping to be a 4th cola. I removed the branch cuse it was hangin by a hair. I had a question about the wound. It took a lil out the main stem when it snapped. I used syran wrap as a band aid. Is syran wrap going to work or should i leave the wound to the air?

use tape. just put branch back where it belongs its place. and tape it tight. that's it . I have done this a few hundred times. worked every time and a few times they were hanging on by threads

Don't worry about the wound. In Africa they wound the plants with thorns and cuts, to give it some stress.

But, hanging by a thread or not, it would have still grown back had you simply propped it in place for a week, with the edges nicely aligned. I have used the blue paper tape to make a sling for the broken branch, and it is glad to attach if you help it immediately.

do what Kinddiesel and Doer said just tape it back on. More then not they end up healing them selves. Done it with tomatoes and mj .

cannabis is incredibly tough. there's a species that is used to make rope. but the three species of cannabis all share the same quality of durability so don't bother with tape or anything else. the wound will develop a callous.
