Population of ON 13,733,534 people. So that’s 1 Cannabis store for every 980,000 people. To put that in perspective, there’s 1 LCBO/Beer Store for every 11,000 people. If you include grocery stores who now sell wine/beer, it works out to about 1 alcohol source for every 7,000 people. Even with 150 Cannabis stores by 2020, that’s only 1 for every 92,000 people. What’s wrong with this picture?!?!

I can see how this is going to work at first.
So in Kitchener they will open 1 store. This store will have many curiosity seekers flocking to it. Many will buy some just to say they did. There will be plenty of non cannabis lookers who giggle and snicker. It will have a few lineup in the first week or 2. The manager will be interviewed and will spout off a few numbers. The manager will point out how so many people are telling them this is what they were waiting for...... Good clean tested cannabis at high prices. OPPs....roll back....high prices huh. The media will portray this as exactly what the community needs and wanted. Look they will say, see all the people coming to it. We better open more stores. This will be their next mistake. Judging sales by a single location locally.
Imagine how busy it would be and look if the community only had one pizza shop?
After a few months the novelty will wear off of the WeedCBO and the black market will swoop in and claim the newbies....well some of them anyway. The regular user will go back to buddy who will be waiting will bags of primo fair priced bud. Although buddy might raise his priced just below the WeedCBO prices thus actually helping the BM make more money....nice job trudy maggot dancer runway model schwagg seller and profiteer.
