Kingrow, show me a male that has crossed stipules my friend. I have grown countless skunks, mexicans, indicas and even some shit from Ontario from bag seed since the 80's. Countless strains from breeders in Holland, Canada and California and i have yet seen this method proven wrong. I learned it from a old hillbilly/hippy dude.

Just assuming the gender is a female because the stipules cross is ignorant , The only 100% fo sho way is to wait for the pre-flowers to show , It's either going to be a calyx with a pistil or a pollen sack , And a calyx without a pistil looks a lot like a sack and vise versa at this stage. That being said , I have seen males stipules crossed before and so have lots of other people who mistakenly assume a female because of seeing the same thing, only to have been grossly disappointed come late summer. And since you asked for it, Here is a pic of a male with crossed stipules, i assume female but not 100% positive YET the plant in this pic is a GDP:)CANNABIS.jpg

That is the first i have seen. A male with crossed stipules. Must be ruderlis or industrial hemp. Those stipules look out of proportion too weird. This plant never cease to amaze me. Much love.

I don't know why the argument. It has preflowers. They just haven't opened to reveal those fuzzy white pistils yet. If it was male, you would see a tiny stick with a ball on the end.

Saying a plant is female because the stipules cross or not is like saying a bear is not going to charge and kill you in the woods. It's usually true but I wouldn't put my money on it. Preflowers baby.

As stated a male pre flower has a small stem and a females is just tear drop shape without a stem. I have a magnifying glass on my phone and Ive guessed every plant right. Some don't throw a pre flower for awhile though.

Its a complete myth that stipules show plant sex, i literally dont need to argue it with you as it is a well known fact that this is complete rubbish.

Not really much to take more pics of. I looked closely at # 2 and #3 and #3 looks the same as #1 and #2 shows no signs of any preflowers.

i agree on femmd. You'll recognize a male ball sack immediately. even when its just one or two dots on the node. You'll look at and say...hm that aint vagina...
