all i know is people choose to be gay they arent born that way. i dont mind hanging out with gays bis les or whatever usually as long as they keep it to themselves
I completely disagree with this statement.

As for the rest, I know gays who feel the same way about straights

Like anyone really needed to argue against it. Who would CHOOSE the ridicule and hatred gays get if it were about a choice? Nobody...

You find out who you're attracted to, you don't choose it, some day someone just interests you for reasons you don't even understand and it's the same for straight or gays.

Finding out your gay is a horrible burden to bear as a kid, teen, whatever and something you'll have to defend yourself for all your life and which could cause you to be beaten to death or otherwise killed just for that reason alone around the wrong crowd.

People generally choose things that won't get them beaten to death given a choice.

im straight but my selection of friends consists almost entirely of gay guys and girls.. i think the fact tht u can definitively say tht u want to be with a woman in the future, is enough to make the decision for you right now.. you should be with the woman in ur life now cuz this may lead to what u want for yourself in the future whereas being with a guy would most likely just add confusion.

EXACTLY what I think. I'm straight, but I have friends who are gay/lesbian and for some of them being out is no big deal, but for some of them it very difficult. One of them was raised and IS a devote Christian, and he honestly believes that he is going to hell for being attracted to men.

If it was a choice, wouldn't he just choose to be attracted to women? Save his eternal soul that way.

Embrace your orientation, whatever it is.

And if you find that your true nature is in being Bi, then you can rest happy knowing that MMF threesomes won't be nearly as awkward for you as they are for straight guys.

edit: Never mind. Troll is deleted. :)

hmmm... true and false... people aren't BORN gay, however nor do they have a choice either. Over the years as one matures it just kinda happens, but it's not an at birth destiny.

Follow your heart, and in the end make the decision that makes YOU happy and fuck anyone who would try and take that away from you.

You are Bi. My friend is Bi since like 10 years old. I think everyone is Bi and just leans one way more. There are a few that just like having sex. I'd be Bi but I don't have that big a libido so I just bang one woman.

Personal preferences, different strokes for different folks.

There are people who don't like sex period and I am sure they'd get ridiculed just as hard if everyone was wise to it.

Just like people who are afraid to be naked and nudists who love to be naked. I was one but now am the other.

EXACTLY.

Straight folks in this thread who don't quite "get it"... Take a step back. Think. When did you choose to be straight? Was there a moment in your life when you could have decided to find the same sex attractive, but you decided that you'd let opposite-sex people turn you on instead?

...Of course there wasn't. You just kinda turned thirteen and started getting horny all the time, and certain kinds of people turned you on and others didn't.

I'm a straight dude but I have a bi-girlfriend:mrgreen:...But regardless of what anyone else expects you to do...do what make you the happiest and fulfills your needs in a relationship. Wheather it be a dude or a chick it makes no difference. As long as you feel the void in your life or relationship has been fulfilled....jmo

Good luck on your journey of finding yourself my brother

Women are fine...I just cannot get into pussy.I like men.I have an addiction to giving head.Literally,I get bitchy when I go without my protein for long periods of time.I'm straight.I was kinda like, born that way.Why is it so hard for some people to accept that gay persons were also born the way they are?Sure, maybe they've had sex with people of the opposite sex before, and finally came out. That isn't because they suddenly chose to be gay. It's because our society hasn't historically been supportive of gay people. They tried to take the easy way out and pretend to be straight, perhaps.Or perhaps they were in denial. But there comes a point in your life where you just must make peace with who you are and accept what you are. When you just can't pretend any more. And it's never easy, but you'll be better for it in the end.You just have to learn that as long as you're not hurting anyone else,it isn't right or wrong, it just IS.In the end, the only person who really has to like you is YOU.:peace:

sounds complicated, i personally am straight. and don't have a want to be around people who aren't. with that being said, that doesn't mean i " hate " people who aren't straight, i respect yours and everyone elses decision to live thier lives the way they want to. just remember there are a lot of people who aren't going to like it, so my suggestions would be don't flaunt it, but do what makes you happy. You can't live your life trying to satisfy others feelings. i hope that helps you some.

Consider this article.........by Dan Savage

I'm a GGG 30-year-old straight male who was quite pleased with your response a while back to a woman who asked if her husband was gay since he enjoyed some stereotypically gay things. You told her that enjoying "gay" things doesn't make a person gay. If a guy likes to get fucked in the ass by a dude, then he might be gay, you said. I've never been attracted to men, but I have always been ridiculed by friends and girlfriends for liking "gay" things, so much so that I began to wonder if I might be gay. Reading your advice was just the confidence boost I needed.
But then I let a girlfriend "experiment" on my ass. What started out as a kink with her finger has turned into a full-blown fetish with her dildo (non-penis-shaped). I wondered if this might be a sign, so I tried masturbating to some gay porn. Not for me. I still don't have any desire to be with a man sexually, Dan, but I LOVE having my ass pounded. Does that tip the scales toward homo?

No homo, DREW.
Once again: If a man and a woman are doing it—whatever it is—it's a heterosexual sex act. It doesn't matter who's on top, who's wearing the lingerie, who's being penetrated, or whether the dildo is penis-shaped or Glenn Beck–shaped. If a girl is doing it with/to a boy, it's heterosexual sex. Gay people can have heterosexual sex, of course, and most gay people have straight sex before coming out. (Gay guys have straight sex in high school like straight guys have gay sex in prison: under duress.) But the relevant question, DREW, isn't "How gay is this ass-fucking experiment?" but "What's going through my mind during this ass-fucking experiment?"
When I fucked girls, I secretly wished/ pretended they were boys. So worry about what's going on in your head, DREW, and not what's going on in your ass.

I've gotten a string of weird girls. Too weird for me. I'm done with them for the time being, unless I find one that I really like. Been talking to one recently, next time I pick up some weed we're gonna go hang out. She's hot as hell, I just hope I don't become the guy who gets her weed and nothing else. She keeps making it a point that she's on shaky ground with her boyfriend, so I dunno. Sex is fun, obviously, and I'll take every chance I get to have it.

As for your situation I can see why you'd be confused. It's really up to you how open you want to be with the world. Personally I'd take it advantage of it, I'd love to not be attracted to women. They all bitch too much and they're all dumb as hell. Although come to think of it, gay men are pretty much the same way in my experience. If gay sex wasn't so damn disgusting I might partake. Plus penises are just fucking weird. Seriously, just do what makes you happy and don't worry about it. Family is just a bunch of people with the same blood as you, who gives a shit what they think, find a family of people who think like you instead.
