box building question

im looking to build a grow box for a single plant maybe something like 2x2x2 with 2 cfls but my real question is if i build it with wood am i going to have to worry about the heat making it catch fire? if i have a single 80mm comp fan would that sufice for keeping it cool enough? any input would be appreciated thanks...

you'll be fine. just keep good airflow. intake and exhaust..

You don't say what you are growing and how you are going to do it but, 2 feet tall is pretty short. I have a 2x2 box made of 1x3 and covered in panda film, 2 foot 4 bulb T5 light. No fire risks. I use one fan but, temps vary greatly from one season to the next. Good luck! Consider going a little taller on the box.

i never built a box but was thinking along the lines of small like a pc grow box or something not to noticable for just a single plant that im gunna throw in my closet, i'll be using 2 75w 6500k cfls for veg and 2700ks for flowering with a LST bar inside the box to tie the plant to, also was thinking of going with just a single 80mm computer fan with the inlet being half the size of the outlet for proper air circulation, the fan will be on the top obviously bc heat rises, the inlet will be across from the fan on the bottome below the LST bar so im hoping to provide a cool breeze across the plant. the power strip im gunna run on the back of the box on the top to plug the lights and fan to, my only next question is the fan is not a normal wall socket plug so i'll have to match the wires and buy some sort of adapter if im not mistaken just want to make sure i got the whole 9 yards covered i cant think of anything else i would need other than what i explained if anyone has some ideas or input that would be great thanks again
