Bottom leaves dried out and look weird (picture)

Some of my plants look like this. Bottom leaves are dried out, if you touch them they crumble. Could this be because I let them dry out too much before I watered them? I'm watering them with pH 6.5 and no nutrients yet (except for Supervit). Please help a brother out :)

They are 18 days old. Could this be some defiency, time to start with nutrients?

Leaves at the bottom usually get screwed up..splashed nute, light burn with water spots..touching soil..etc.. watch to see that it doesn't progress... This morning I removed about 4 for both my plants...... Luck.

18 days old?? From seed or clone?
Sorry, I was a bit unclear on this one. 18 days have passed since they came out of the soil. I planted seeds!

It cant be splashed nutes, I havent even started with the nutes yet. Light burn is possible, does it look like light burn? I mist all plants thoroughly after I water them, so this could be it...

Ok man here are some more pictures. They are under a 400w MH cooltube, no nutes yet (supervit only), ph of the water i give them is 6.5.

They look great, size wise, for 18 days. What type of soil are you using. It probably has nutes in it. Hopefully its not miricle grow. But if so it has time relesed nutes in it and can be harmful for young plants

Hey there dirtfree, thanks for your comment. The soil is pretty nutritious, but it's not miracle grow and it contains no time released nutes. I could give you the name of the soil but I'm from another part of the world, noone would know of it :) It's a popular soil for mj growers where I come from, I've used it successfully before without these kind of problems. Any suggestions as to whats going on?

I just picked up every single plant and inspected them. It seems this is happening to all the plants, and there are 3 different strains in there. Some small brown stains can be spotted on some mid-plant leaves but this is nothing I care about at this time, it really seems to start at the bottom of the plant, and at the end of the leaves/tips. I need help brothers and sisters! :)

Man, I dont know. It looks like a nute burn of some kind. And i would say it is too early for a deficiency. I grow in rockwool so my knoledge of soil is very limited. Sorry man, hopefully a soil grower will chime in soon. Best of luck to ya Brinkaumn!

I would say they are ready for nutes. 1/4 strength-with every other water max-preferrebly every 3rd water. those chicks are gonna get rootbound pretty fast-I'd say in next 2 weeks as they obviously very fast growers. or just nute the bigger ones and see what happens.

Oh fuck dont say rootbound, I cant afford the space for rootbound plants this early. I was really planning on sexing them before transplanting to bigger pots. But alright, I'm gonna give them some nutes in the next couple of days (if I could only find that measuring jug....), thanks for your advise man.

3 litre pots, I water them ~once a week, temp is about 84 and humidity 40%.

I am praying the plants will show their sex before I transplant them to 11 litre final pots.

Def start feeding her. Growers tend to be waaaaay to conservative when it comes to providing nutrients to their babies. Full strength feed won't hurt her but go 1/2 str if you must. Those spots are from the fans getting wet when you watered and possibly/probably getting medium splashed on them. Don't sweat those lower older fans......no matter what anyone says the ORIGINAL fans, the ones that get sooooo big a couple weeks in, eventually outlive their usefulness. When you see large, low fans dead or dying remove them. It's usually just a couple and the rest of the plant will compensate juuuust fine. All that wasted energy going to those degraded fans will be more efficiently used on the healthy parts. Your babies look great. Just start feeding them and get the decaying fans off. PEACE and good luck.

I would try watering them every 4-5 days isntead of once a week and see what happens. You are in no danger as of now so it wouldnt hurt to try and get their watering schedule dial'd in. And if the plants start showing signs of over-watering you can always go back to once a week. Just play God and see what happens and adjust accordingly. Good Luck they look good!

Some really nice advise here guys, thanks alot!! I'll add nutes at about halfstrength next watering, which will be a few days earlier than I was planning to, also, the worst fan leaves I will remove. Really appreciate you and this site!
