Been growing some seriously frosty stuff with the FF bud i hate how it seems to taste a little bit earthy, people have been telling me botanicare will give you the best tasting buds? I heard alot about dyngro and i really like how it is more complete. Which one should i buy? both are priced right so but i want to know if anyone has a second opinion

Dyna Gro is the more complete and concentrated nutrient, but if you're looking more for taste, Pure Blend Pro and TF's Pure Vida can make some delicious buds just by themselves.

any particular reason a certain fert brand will make buds taste diff? I used to flush my plants until doing a little more online research saying that it's completely uneeded. I always go light on the nutes to avoid and build up

How is Dynagro more complete?
DynaGro contains all 16 essential elements, Pure Blend contains 6 or 7.

I used pure blend for 8 years in the dirt with great results. It's a bit salty and between the two brands, botanicare may give a better tasting product due to its mixture of organic and inorganic components. With that being said, I switched to DG in the dirt because it was less salty, easier to use, cheaper, yielded more, and in the end I've noticed no difference in flavor. I think both are solid choices at reasonable prices. My recommendation would be DG with an organic-ish additive like Floralicious plus (1ml per gallon).

How could Pure Blend Pro grow great herb if it lacked essential nutrients?
I can't tell if that's a rhetorical question or not but I'll answer it.....

That vast majority or fertilizers out there only contain 6-9 elements; you could say an average of 8 I suppose. Considering the average formula only contains half of what plants need, what you'll almost always find in said formulas is N, P, K, Ca, Mg and iron. If you're growing in dirt, sometimes that dirt or soil will be supplying some of the trace elements that are missing. Unless you're using DynaGro which is the only formula that I know to supply everything your plants need, you've been growing with incomplete formulas which are obviously enough to get the job done.

homebrewer i kno this thread is a little old but do you still feel the same way about dyna gro products? in your experience would you still only add the floralicious plus or would kool bloom, sweet and other such supplements be desirable?
