Botanicare soil questions?

I usually run the Michigan medical soil
But the lady at my local hydro store said I should try a bag,
Gave me a small sample an it worked great. So I purchased a
Full bag today.

My questions are Anyone ever used it? It says on the bag
To water 4-6 times A DAY! of course I didn't read it carefully
Before I bought it but is this true? Or can I just water it as I normally
Due twice a week.

Readygro is a premium and select blend of all natural and organic ingredients containing an optimum air to water ratio for superior growth rates and yields compared to conventional potting soils. Readygro is available in two unique formulas to suit your gardening requirements.
Readygro Aeration Formula (4 to 6 waterings daily) is specifically designed for automated hydrogardens and self-watering planters with small to midsize plants. This blend is lighter and contains higher air content than the moisture formula. It is virtually impossible to over water plants with this formula. Plants can also sit in Readygro with 1 to 2 inches of water and through the process of capillary feeding, hydrate & feed as neede

Sounds hydroponic. I would like to see this compared with soil. I am surprised nobody has complained about the store owner dissing a michigan product for a name brand. lol.
4-6 times a day just sounds like it will either kill the plant and feed the shit out of it. lol. I'm interested.

Looks like promix and kind of pricey. Your going to need some support for your plants.I did the capillary action with lava rocks in the bottom once, and it was a good set up. I had a rez and set my pots rite in the water. I put worms in my pots and did well.

Ya theres not really anything in it, .001 nitro, .001 phosp, .001 potassium,
An .001 humic acid. I went back an talked to the store owner an she also
Said i should mix a little something like lava rocks in the bottom
Or middle. I got a 20lb bag for 19$ so I'm gunna grab another bag of the
Michigan med mix an mix them together. I did transplant a clone into the fluffy
Ass bontanicare . I'm gunna run it all the way through in straight botanicare
To see how it does compared to the Michigan mix.

I don't think it will hold a plant up very good so mixing might work out. your going to need some sticks or dowels to tie the plant to if you go strait botanicare
I use strait bx pro mix because it makes all the flavors come out in the smoke. Its so light and fluffy I have to prop up the plants or they fall over.

Good idea doing a side by side.I don't know about mixing them I wouldn't That's like making a hamburger out of a good steak.
Damn dude, we are on the same page there. I am starting to mess around with 'non-hydro' to check it out. I have Fox Farm Ocean Farm and I will use their nutes after a month. I just got Roots Organic to try next to it. I don't want to mix shit till I know it. I will try the Pro-mix, and probably this shit. Oh, and the Michigan shit also. Then do a coco or two. Then I think I'll make better decisions. (That's the plan, I'll see a cool thread in a few hours and change direction again though lol)

Ya Ive done side by sides with happy frog , ocean forrest an
The mi med mix an the med mix hands down has the best
Taste as far as smoke. The ocean Forrest buds were a little
Denser,( yes I used the same strain even took the cuts off the
Same branch of the mom) the happy frog straight up sucks. I had
more problems With it than dirt I dug out of my back yard. I'll def
have to mix Something in the bontanicare my clone kinda hangs
to the side..

Im thinking about putting rabbit shit in my pro mix but i don't want to make my bud to taste like shit. I have noticed soil gives the plants an earthy taste and other peoples pot kind of all tastes the same. Not sure what to do Im trying to get away from fertilizer salts and go all organic without sacrificing flavor.

She has two patient openings. Next patient I will try the Michigan Mix. Are you using 600 or 1000W?
I was going to do the Michigan Mix later, so I knew better what nutes to use.
I want to try the cannibiswormtea though.
http://www.cannabiswormtea.com/
Maybe I should try those together.
