Botanicare is manufactured just across the Columbia river from Portland in Vancouver Washington. They were acquired by Hawthorne Hydroponics which is a subsidiary of Scott's Miracle-Gro. Hawthorne has just leased a new building at the Port of Vancouver just a few blocks from Sunlight Supply which was also acquired by Scott's Miracle-Gro. Botanicare is currently located at NE 109th Ave, Vancouver, WA. They may be shutting down temporarily to move operations to the new location.

Been using the kind line with liquid karma, sweet and bbudswel about10 months and have not been impressed, seems like i have been having progressive worse mid flower chlorosis starting mid-upper fans around week 5 with a significant lack of size and density at harvest. First 2 pics are current kind tables third one is table switched mid flower from AN to mega crop i started taking down today and fourth pic is table I've switched to mega after a couple weeks of kind-haven't seen the signs of the chlorotic growth yet and my ph continues to rise normally with ec drop unlike kind at mid flower my ph drops with ec(start ph5.8 and 1.7ec, ph5.2 or lower and ec1.3-4 at weekly res change). Still love liquid karma and budswel and have used them for years but overall looking to switch to either mega, Jack's or hr veg+bloom for base nutrients as botanicare hasn't been treating my rooms very kindly

I tried Botanicare years ago when I was doing hydro flood and drain. I didn't have the problems you have but the price was ridiculous. I switched to VitaGrow which cost about ten times less and saw an immediate improvement in my grows. I'm not impressed with any of the overhyped nutrient lines that spend more on marketing than what they put in their fancy bottles.

Yes you are correct. I knew they had a facility in Vancouver but I see they are or were based out of Arizona.

A youtube video of the facility

Hope nobody gets a bottle of RoundUp mis-labeled as Botanicare... lol

from the link posted above... https://www.portvanusa.com/news-releases/hawthorne-hydroponics-leases-port-of-vancouver-usas-new-industrial-building/ :

"The Company’s Scotts®, Miracle-Gro® and Ortho® brands are market-leading in their categories, as is the consumer Roundup® brand, which is marketed in the U.S. and certain other countries by Scotts and owned by Monsanto."

Now I feel safe... smh. Keep your eyes peeled for the new strain, 'Monsanto Breath'!
