Boosting rooting using water

I heard of a method to boost root grow using recipients of water. No grow hormones were used.
Does anyone know this or is this possible?
I'd appreciate the help.

Sure a little tap water will have the minerals needed to start rooting, but a rooting powder or gel will have a more appropriate combination of these minerals and will contain vitamins and hormones to aid in the process. Even a little kelp added to the tap would be better than nothing!

I've never heard of root-boosting as a method to lengthen the roots; I always use it as a pre-flowering nutrition boost to improve yield size and color.
A week before you change the lighting hours before you plan on pushing the plant into flowering phase, uncover the roots with your hands (this only works with soil and unfortunately not hydroponically) and pour 1-3 cups of pure, unpolluted water ( I use spring - don't use distilled as there are traces of nitrites in it and will throw off your nutrition feed.
Wrap banana peels around the roots loosely and recover the roots. Do not add additional water to the top of the soil for a day or two. When you change the lighting to induce flowering, the peels will have already begun to decompose and will release bursts of potassium and beneficial vitamins during flower, resulting in higher yield. The plants are also much brighter in color.
To help with your question, if you use soil, place your seeds in the ground deeper than normal. The extra weight will strengthen the roots and stem, and be less likely to bend or break in it's future.
Picked my fucking brain, hope this helps,

Also, no disrespect but tap water is the absolute worst thing you want to put near your plants; all those chemicals found in tap water (last study was upwards of 300) make their way into the plants and the smoke will be much more rough, not to mention unhealthy. I'll try that method sometime, but I would recommend spring water.

Sodium sulfate found in fish hydroslate and molasses will neutralize all chems in water. Breaks down chloromine into ammonia. That takes twice as long as chlorine to evaporate. So if aerating 2- 3 hours.

You could start a worm farm and feed worms bananas among other things.

If you want to give clones a boost spray them with kelp and aloe. Water them with coconut water and aloe. Good all natural enzymes and all the trace mineral.

200x aloe powder. 1 tsp per gal.and dip cuttings in it too. Fresh aloe 1 15 inch leaf fillet per 5 gal.

Fresh coconut water. 1/4 cup per 5 gals. Coconut powder 1 tsp per gal.

Doesn't organics kick Ass.

Cut out the fillet puree or chop it fine. Add to what ever solution for feeding or spraying. You can use it as a cloning gel too. The powder is just easier.

Go to my thread. In my sig. I did a tutorial on cloning with fresh aloe
