Bonnie Dumanis (San Diego) Fundraiser Protest

Our D.A., Bonnie Dumanis, has consistently been the bane of compassionate and law-abiding people in San Diego County. Bonnie’s actions, from her attacks on medical marijuana patients to her massive waste of taxpayer dollars, constantly act against the public interest.

Dumanis is up for reelection this summer and is holding a high dollar dinner on December 15 to raise campaign funds. Several of our local officials, including the Mayor and Chief of Police, will be there to support Bonnie’s fear mongering.

We need to be out there in force to show our officials that we will NOT allow Bonnie to continue stripping our rights from us. It is vital that the mayor and other officials understand that supporting Bonnie Dumanis is contrary to the will of the voters, and must stop NOW.

As always, this will be a peaceful and legal protest. Come out, bring a friend, and have your voice heard!

Considering unemployment in California is well over 10% and there is no shortage of individuals willing to open a medical marijuana storefront in the legally challenging environment of County of San Diego, it's hard to understand why there isn't one single interested candidate to run against the County District Attorney.

The lack of any candidate courageous enough to run for the DA's position is very likely due to outright fear of the unstable incumbent Dumanis, who currently holding the position with an iron grip.

Although Bonnie Dumanis has created a sizable mess to clean up after, her mess is not bigger than the Iraq war or the collapse of wall-street, yet there was a long line of candidates for that job.

Exciting news: The 91X morning show agreed to promote it for us this morning! They have a huge audience, so I am hoping to finally see a lot of people from outside the MMJ community there.

Wish I could have been there. I had ankle surgery unfortunately....any updates on what took place ? I'm extremely curious. Bein from esco, that woman needs to get out of office and stop the raids that are affecting our rights as medical patients.

Sorry about the delay, everyone. As usual, it went well. Turnout was lower than I had hoped, but we had enough people to make ourselves heard loud and clear.

We had plenty of media coverage, a presentation of the community's responses to Bonnie's actions, and a live musical performance with a song written just for her. SANTA even came down from the north pole to pronounce Bonnie's place on the "bad" list.
