BNCL Producer Grow No.2 Fire OG Kush

Day 1

I'm back from my first adventure in hydroponics. I certainly learned a lot on my first grow. It's amazing the plants even lived but somehow I pulled 7.5 Oz of dry dispensary quality buds.

I'm a 215 patient on my second grow for personal use. I'm looking forward to working in what I experienced on the first grow to make this one even better!

I have a slightly modified BCNL Producer with 18 rooted Fire OG Kush clones sitting in rockwool cubes and hydroton. I'm using RO water with a little calmag, hygrozyme, Sensi Grow and a dash of RapidStart. PPM is at friendly 150 now.

Below is a few photos of my rig, the extra air that I've added and the clones in their new home.

This thread is alway open for comments and advice.

Your setup is supa clean! Any more add on's besides the air-pumps(fans, venting with inline etc, etc)?

Day 9

Temp: 68º f
Humidity: 37%

I found powdery mildew on about a third of the plants. Pretty bummed. I chopped a few leaves last night and sprayed them with a solution of 3/4 RO water and 1/4 milk. I'll buy something more serious on the weekend. With that said the growth so far has been good. I even have some roots poking out the bottom already.

I have a temp gauge but that's about it. The Producer has most of the big items figured out. It just runs a little hot and the air stones kinda suck. Overall it's pretty handy.

Day 12

I flipped the water today with 15 gallons of RO. PPMs are at 300. The milk/water solution is seeming to keep the mold issue at bay. It leaves a little residue on the leaves which doesn't look so great but that's better than dead plants. I think I'll go one more week of veg and then flip them into flower.

My producer has the intake on the bottom left, exhaust top right. What I did is connect the two with ducting to provide circulation and cut two new holes in the opposite corners. To the new top left hole I attached a 4" vortex to push through a 4x12 phresh filter. Although a little louder, this setup actually keeps my box a degree or two below room temp and humidity at around 50%.

Great tip!

P.S. That's milk all over the leaves.

you can have a big fancy machine, the most expensive nutes, the "OG BLING BLING" strains lol but at the end of the day if you dont have PROPER circulation and environment, your product and amount of product (if you get product) will absolutely blow ass and explain itself. This doesnt look new to you tho, having problems seems normal too you. I took a look at your first grow and you had plants dieing, nute burn also the plants were stretching, you put twigs into flower...

Im not trying to be a dick, please dont think i am but if people say "good job!" - "keep it upp!" there is no room to learn, take it from someone whos been to hell and back with this hobby, this is just my .02 , i would rather someone tell me what im doing wrong then what im doing right.

I have no idea what you point is. If you see anything that I can be doing better feel free to chime in. This grow is not because I like to party to sell or make some kind of money of this—in fact it's been quite expensive to set up so far. The grow is to support a family member who needs the herb. So, no one is showing off here. I'm doing my best to grow enough medicine so I don't have to visit the dispensary every weekend. I fucked up my first grown pretty bad but learned a lot and this second grow is already looking much better. If you or anyone else has any tips please feel free to chime in. My goal is to crop an close to LB every 10 weeks.

i re-read my message and wow i did sound like a prik, didnt mean to come across like that, sorry man. if i had your setup i would definatly top the plants for more main buds. Your last grow wasnt nearly as proper as this one. As for your goal of 1lb per 10 weeks... dont undercut yourself lol you should be able to kill that expectation, yet again i guess it feels good when you find yourself with 20+ oz :) And thanks for the kind words on my white rhino journal, ive subbd do this also

Day 19
0 DAYS IN FLOWER

I changed the water today and set the PPM up to 350. however most of the PPM is Cal/Mag and rooting nutes. There's only about 30ML of Sensi Bloom in the 10 gallons of RO so I'll make sure to keep an eye on these.

I also supercropped most of the plants to see if I can boost the yield. Again, the white crud on the leaves is milk.

Lastly, the CO2 is on.

Ok, I am watching also. I think you did a terrific job with the producer. You definetly want more air to those roots. Your goal of a lb every 10 weeks should be pretty easy with the producer. I got over a lb 2 times without using co2 so you should be good, also i never had a full 18 plants make it. As long as you keep the temps down you should be good, just watch out for spider mites!!!!

I just read your first one and im sure you figured it out allready but you want to give them more veg time. Flip about 10-12 inches and lots of roots sticking out. ALSO you might wanna try advanced nutrients products.

I Just threw them into flower yesterday but this time they're tall enough (10"). Also, I'm using Advanced Nutrients Sensi Bloom. This grow I might add a few more of the products but I'm all paranoid of burning the shit out of the plants. With that said what would you add to my current nutrient program?

• 10 gallons RO Water
• Calmag
• Hygrozyme
• RapidStart
• Sensi Bloom Part A
• Sensi Bloom Part B

PPM currently 350
