Anyone use BlueRidge mini spit before. Mitsubishi is super expensive, looking for a 4 ton mini split that is easy to setup. How low does the ambient temp have to go? Mitsubishi goes -22f and the blue ridge goes -13f. I live in the northwest

Just depends on how cold outside you wanna be able to run it.
The coldest it gets during the winter is like -35F,
Instead of getting a AC rated for -30F can I just just put AC condenser inside of a insulated shed? Whats the smartest way to run room during winter? I figure when its super cold out i Will just do veg and use outside air to cool room and during flower seal room up and use AC. Im trying to figure the most efficient way to cool room and utilize our cool winters.

It gets -35F where you’re at? You sure? Fahrenheit?

Yes during the coldest parts of winter ive seen it get negative -40degrees Fahrenheit. Last winter we had a freakish stretch of negative -30F. Typically you see most nights in the negatives -10 or colder during the winter.

Ok well dang! That’s fucking cold lol.

I set my sealed bloom rooms up with the ability to dump the air. If I was you I would build your bloomroom this way and just run it ventilated during those super freezing months. I’m not sure if any minisplit will work down that low.

i’m in the process of installing 2 of these in my new grow:
I can’t say how reliable they are yet but they are supposedly built with the very same parts as Medea mini’s and I can tell you that the last Medea 4ton’s I had in Paradise Ca before it burned down were solid with 3+ full years of continuous use on them. No problems at all.
