Blueberry Cupcake from Humboldt Seed Co. I'm running some right now, and although I've had to pull some due to herms (be careful), the smells are out of this world. Blueberry lemon candy, blueberry sugar, blueberry jolly rancher.

I have one of these going right now. Still in veg. Just pulled 6 clones off of it the other day. Have any pics of yours?

closer view. nice resin production. smell is definitely blueberry terps, but perhaps leaning on the sour fruit berry side.

here's one I labelled bb5. these next two are at 31 days since 12/12. Nice and frosty, just not really blueberry flavour

this was bb1 (and in fact it smelled the blueberriest even in veg) hence the '1' - glad she turned out to be a gurl. kept a cut of this one

I found that blueberry terps in the calco genetics blueberry parfait (blueberry x blueberry syrup)i recomend! this genetics is very legit it look really similiar to the djshort's bb f5 i tried but with blueberry flavor not afghan landrace terp like the dj short i grew.the only downside of this strain is you gonna have some mutant pheno but i think its in the blueberry sativa kind of genetics

Shout out to Blue Star Seed Co. Dude works with DJ Short and unlike Shorts kid (who im told runs the buissiness side and is responsible for naming the half dozen strains that are claiming to be true/original/vintage/classic blueberry) actually gives a shit about the product he puts out. His gear is coming to JBC soon

A picture of the dj short f5 i grew you can see the similarity with the calco i grow:purple stem, sativa leaf and a little bit stretchy so i knew it was something legit but today i smell it in week4 flower and damn thats blueberry :)
What kind of blueberry terps are you getting? Are they earthy-blueberry like if you opened a container of fresh blueberries? Or are they sweet? Berry muffin? Candy berry?

I ask because good cuts of old school blueberry from DJ's original releases are earthy, like you're standing in a blueberry patch on a farm. Not sweet at all. I haven't come across that same smell in anything with blueberry these days. You can find the sweet or muffin terps easily though in many seed lines.

Dutch passions was like that. Smells like blueberries. It was tart and sharp on the nose. Not really sweet. Not really dank. The rest of the smell was very perfumey. It smells like 2001.

Good question !i forgot to mention the terps im just in week 4 but,i get a kind of true blueberry first and a little bit of "pie" or "musky" but its a LITTlE bit!i think your description is good!i do know it remind me my first bb expérience with kannabia's mataro blue clone from a Guy a tried in the past. People told me if the blue color was a smell, it was that:) i grew humboldt bb muffin, and its a different aroma the muffin was a little bit grape i found but similar berry strain in général that was good too

I've picked up quite a few packs from blue star and he's been pretty good to talk to and purchase from. Dj's son on the other hand acts like a complete asshat and is terrible to communicate with. He wants to pretend like he's some breeder better than all the rest of the pollen chuckers when all he's doing is using his dad's already chosen stock and crossing them with other clone onlys. I made sure I was only buying seeds from them that were worked by blue star or dj cause I won't contribute to his son.

Yeah that's pretty much the conclusion I've come to. I got 4 different packs from jd and NONE of the freebies germinated and only about half of the others did and of those, half were herms. I thought it was me at first but I germed a bunch by tony green and akbeanbrains and had damned near 100% germination and no herms. After all that bullshit I said I was done with jd, dj, and anybody that has anything to do with them.... But I may try some blue star...Tony green said he had some good gear as well. And yeah jd is a total asshat. Not sure but he may be autistic.... Not in the cool rainman kind of way but more the "I'm a twat with no manors so I'll blame it on autism." kind of way.

Honestly, I don't get the hate on JD other than him using his dad's Blueberry.....but he'd be retarded NOT to use his dad's blueberry lol.

I've had great experiences with JDs Azure Haze....I've got other packs too but that's the only one I've grown so far and it was awesome.....Blueberry itself is very picky and hermaphrodites easier than almost any other variety. So buying any blueberry (or cross) I wouldn't blame the breeder for any hermaphrodite issues.

Ime JD has been cool and straightforward. Others may not share that experience but that's mine

His naming practices could be a little more straightforward. He also charges an arm and a leg for decent but not great gear.
