Looking good! What ec are you at now?
running 700ppm as of today. was at about 820 for the last 2 weeks but now i no longer need canna pk 13/14 during this portion of the flowering stage so my PPMs are lower and should actually be about 650 but i'm not starting off that low cause i just want to gradually bring them down.

No i am kind of paranoid about posting pics. I have taken a few pics as i went but not consistantly.
understandable lol.

are you still using the blumats? if so, how you liking them?
yep i'm still running 2 blumats in each pot and they are absolutely fucking amazing. i don't adjust them at all, i just check every other day to make sure that they still have steady drips and aren't clogged. haven't had any issues whatsoever with them and will always use these things from now on (with coco).

UPDATE!

plants have been finished for a few weeks and the bud is currently curing in jars.
i managed to fill 6 half gallon mason jars with bud off of these 2 plants.... 2 jars are blue widow and the other 4 jars are sweet deep grapefruit.
all of the containers are currently between 64 and 66 percent humidity so they have quite a bit of curing left to do.

just a reminder, both of these seeds were freebies.

i'll be back later on with a smoke report on both strains as soon as the curing process has come to an end.

Whats your conversion factor? 700ppm at .7 is 1000 uS(microsiemen) afaik.
At .5 its 1400 uS.

Thanks

Reason i ask is i also use 400w hps's and like to know the max EC for said wattage.

well i actually have 800w now instead of just 400.... i found it to be better if the 2 plants had their own 400w lights instead of trying to share one.

as far as conversion factor... i didn't use one.
i ran canna nutes the entire time and their website has a feeding schedule chart that asks about res. tank size, hard or soft water, etc etc. i just went by their recommended ppm and everything worked out.

I weighed one of the curing jars out and it showed 2.6 ounces of bud so when these 6 jars are finished the final weight will be right at 1 pound from just 2 plants.

What ec meter do you use? American ec meters are normally calibrated to .5, European .65 or .7. I just take all my measurement in microsiemen (uS) as ppm = ec(uS) x (conversion factor (.7,.5 whatever)).

i use the nutradip tri-meter.
it's just wall mounted and has ph/ppm(EC)/Temp and is a full time monitoring system

We offer pH4, pH7 and EC/ppm 500 mL solutions.
For our Tri Meters we offer:

  • ppm – NaCL Conversion 1000μS/cm EC = 500ppm
  • ppm – 442 Conversion 1000μS/cm EC = 700ppm
  • EC - 1000μS/cm EC = 1mS
Which calibration solution do you have?
