also appear to have some brown spotting on some fan leaves. thinking this is slight nute burn from buildup in the soil mixed with a simple yet aggressive feeding schedule

Water every 2 days.
Through veg and first 3 weeks of flower - 2 waterings w/ nutes, 1 straight water, 2 w/, 1w/o...so on. PPM maxes out around 1500 of nutes, 1650 w/ added current waters PPM
Last 2 weeks I have begun alternating waterings 1 w/, 1w/o and brought my ppm down slightly to around 1350 of nutes.

I will water tomorrow with straight water and most likely skip the next nute watering in hopes that I won't have to flush her.

SMELL UPDATE: Odor beginning to build up noticeably if room is closed off without a window open or something. and is it just me, or do they smell so much more at night?

Just wanted to give some REP to my "local hydro shop". besides being extremely knowledgable, you hooked me up with free nutes! Just another reason to not shop on the internet

So kudos "local hydro shop"
see ya soon

Started using Mad Farmer NUTS as a foiler spray. Also going to introduce Mad Farmer MOAB during feedings for the next 2 weeks, heavy 10 day flush to get all the salt based nutrients out of the soil at the end, a hefty 2-3day dark period and CHOP CHOP CHOP!

Unfortunately a vacation in june will force me to chop no matter how far along they are. It will have given me almost 10 full weeks of 12/12 just hoping it will be long enough

Super trichs forming, buds starting to fatten. Can't wait oh no I can't!!!!!

I haven't folier fed before, but the hydro guy recommended a humic acid to increase yield and told me folier feeding was the way to do it. I mentioned I was late in flower, he said to just apply a light mist once a week leading up to harvest. I've seen some ppl say they stop using at trich development or after week 4 etc...my humidity is below 35% ALWAYS and my ventilation is great. Mold is not much of a concern under my current conditions so as long as I'm super light with it I feel comfortable doing it this far into flower.

But let's talk about the results. In the last week between mad farmer NUTS and MOAB I have seen my buds start to really fatten! First time using so I'm still being very careful. I'm sure it will take me past this grow to take full advantage of these nutes..but so far what i've seen, I certainly like.

According to dinafem, the blue widow finishes flowering in 50-55 days....should be wrapping up sooner than I thought if this holds true. It would be a huge relief for sure to not have to chop early

I hate everyone....

so i definitely have seeds growing in my blue widow plant. my one, my only, my 100% female plant. No friends with grows in flower or with males (only grow I visited had 2 females in veg) I don't like this one bit. I can't tell how bad it is yet, only found a few small clusters so far but the more I look the more I notice one here or there and I feel my stomach drop a little more.

Yes, the idea of free seeds excites me! whoop-dee-doo!
see i'm excited

BUT if it hermied, the pheno could be unstable and the last thing I want is to have them pollenate my outside guys or disappoint me again
if it creates tons of seeds, my bud will suck and I will be disappointed every time i have to yank a seed from a nug

I haven't noticed male flowers anywhere but the plant is too large to take from the closet or rotate in the closet...I'll be cutting her out of there

POLLINATION SCENARIO #1
hermied due to unstable genetics or light leaks

POLLINATION SCENARIO #2

Neighbor grows, windows open, magic happens....that'd be just great

bongsmiliehere's to hoping I get under 15 free seeds and that a neighbor grows some super fly dankity dank dankington that my blue widow will be crossed with. guess we'll know sooner or later

I have come to the conclusion that unstable genetics are most likely the cause of this hermie. Noticing that clusters and other seeds are lower and in the middle of the plant and the outside branches you may find one here, occasionally one there. the top branches are clean as far as I can tell. No male flowers, pollen sacks.

So the seeds will most likely carry a hermie trait. I will save them to grow outside on their own next year. But I will not invest another grow into blue widow. As strong of a strain, she's become tempermental in these last weeks of flower, doesn't seem to be packing on bud as much as I'd like, and I don't do this to get seeds. That's what attitude is for

Ah, but I like to buy seeds and grow different strains. My indoor space is very limited. If I planned better for outdoor this year I would have many more plants. But next year I will certainly be prepared

these are from earlier in the week. She's really coming to a close now. Going to wrap her up and chop in 7 days. Really finishing out perfectly with the timeline I allowed myself (in retrospect I should have allowed myself more time, I'm lucky this time)

I'll update next week when I harvest!

OOPS! so started harvesting my BW yesterday afternoon. Stop for a cheesecake break, but then my stomach hurts. Lay down with my bowl and try and shake it off so I can get back to trimming and beforeI know it I'm waking up and it's midnight...so now on this here beautiful day, I can spend blinds drawn and scissors in hand. Almost forgot how much fun I won't be having.

I love marijuana.........I hate trimming (probably because I'm not good at it)

SEED COUNT STATUS- 30 TO 40 SO FAR DA FUCK?

DONE! everything is hanging to dry now. 65 seeds if anybody is interested in dinafems blue widow? lol I have to admit I think I chopped early. Once again, this vacation really left me no choice. But I am not worried. Many outdoor plants, some new indoor starting when I get back...all is good in my world. Will post some harvest pics, weigh in and such and we'll put the top on this box for good.
