Blue OG, Purple Deisel, TrainWreck, Simple DWC.

This is my 2nd grow since the 80`s ... a friend turned me onto dwc last year and with a successful outcome.

My original run was going to be HSO BD, G13Midnight Kush and NL/SKUNK. I asked my buddy if he had any room in his grow. He was very curious about the MK and the N/L.

At this point I am 6 months behind on my next grow. And surely didn't want to wait for these seedlings so he made room for all 10 and gave me clones. 1 BluOG, 2 PD and 3 TrainWreck.
I planted these on 12/18 and took this pic the next day.

The tent is 4x8x7
1000watt cooled x2 (running 1 @ 32" above plants during veg).
2 air pumps..."lotsa air ferdem roots."
2. 4" round air stones in each 5 gallon bucket.

Air temp day 76-78/night 70-72
RH 58-63% (21% outside of tent)
Water temp 64.5- 68'
PH 5.8
ppm's. blue og and Trainwreck 1100. The purple d was quite finicky when I started her. I started all of them at about 900 ppm's including cal mag. But the pd started to claw and burn. So I backed off the nutes and still she was getting worse.

I ditched the nutes and ran ph'd water with h2o2 for about 7-8 hours. Remixed at 900 ppm's w/o cal-mag. And overnight there was a huge improvement.

Lst since day 2.
I prefer lst over topping. Less stress on the plants and it works well for me.

Lst and topping produce similar results. To start as many main colas as possible off of a single plant.

I get you now man pull the main cola down so the side ones over take it, I was stoned ......
What genitcs of train wreck you got ...? The leaves look kind of the same as mine !

I'm not sure of the genetics of this TW. I do know that if it makes it to chop it will be some very good meds.

As my buddy was handing me the TW clones he told me that he has been having trouble with this strain. He can only get 1 out of every 3 plants to live until chop. They will be going just fine and a few weeks before harvesting they just die. Sad picture to see a nearly fully developed plant just turn to tumble weed in a matter of a few days. He calls it his Trainwreck Trainwreck. We'll see!

I'm not scared. Unlike my buddy who is growing over 50 plants at a time. I can monitor mine very closely and make adjustments as necessary. I hope. Lol. He has one in his grow room that was started with 2 clones. One is alive and doing well and the other is as dead as a doornail in the same bucket. Pretty cool to see the alive one all entangled with the dead one. I asked him how the root mass was doing. He said just fine at the moment.

Day 22 veg. 14 hours after last bondage session.

Rootin for that Purple D to make a strong comeback. That is one of my favorites for an all day smoke.
Changed all the buckets out today and running at 1100 ppm's. I'll give em another day before I apply some lite bondage.

This truly is the boring part of the grow.

Any chance you could get a picture of that dead plant I tangled with the living one ?

Yep...sorry no pics of the tw tumbleweed. I should have taken one though because it was freaky lookin. But that is the bud I hope to produce.

Last week while training I broke one of the main leads on the blue og. I got that sinking feeling when it just gave away under my tie down.
It didn't break completely
and is growing well.
