Blue Mystic from Royal Queen Seeds

First started out by germenating the seed in a tap water soaked paper towel. The paper towel was placed in between two ceramic plates for the germenation process.

Then once germenated placed the seed into a 6 inch pot with miracle grow potting soil.

Well upon placing my newly planted seed in the grow room the pot tipped over and spilled all the potting mix in the floor and a good amount in the air vent. I searched for 2 hours hopeing not to have lost the seed then I finally found it. Put the seed back in its labeled pot and started growing. The pot was under 4, 23-watt CFL's for a 24 hour lighting cycle. Kept the lights about 3 inches from the top for some tight internode placement. About 2 weeks into the vegging cycle it was doing great nice and green and just gorgeous.

Then this happened.

Wasnt really sure what happened I new it wasnt getting burned from the CFL's because the top leaves were still green. I know the picture doesnt show it to well but the leaves were white looking. So I took the plants out of the 6 inch pot and transplanted it into a 12 inch pot with organic miracle grow. That made it all better. Then I went out and got some nutrient solution for vegging I will post a picture of it below but I got it from Lowe's. It is a 20-14-13 mix with macro nutri's in it. I know its no fox farms or anything expensive but works for me. I started out using 1/4 strength and then to 1/2 strength of the suggested instructions on the back.

I say about the 5th week of giving it nutrients every 4th day no watering inbetween it started looking really bushy. That was probably due to the case that I was topping it every chance I got for a burning bush. I began topping at the 3rd internode and it started from there. Anyway, on the 5th and a half week of vegging I talked to my partner and decided maybe it will grow better with 4 more 23-watt CFL's. At about the 2 hour mark of the CFL's being in there the leaves started pulling up towards the CFL's...I was super excited. Went to bed hopeing to see such a vast improvement from the day before. But, to find out my plant had dried to hell up the leaves were all crispy as hell and I felt like breaking something. Well I took out the other 4 CFL's and hoped for the best. In about 4 days the plant came back to life and started its journey again.

About the 7th week the plant is looking good nice and bushy and living the best it can with all the hell I have given it. A nickel is placed next to the stalk to show size.

Well the plant was just at around 17 inches or so at the end of the 7th week. Me and my partner went in to look at the Blue Mystic that morning and my CFL's unplugged and fell right into our plant. It split the plant into at the main trunk and we hurried and took dental floss and mended it back together I will post pics of that also seems like this plant is going through hell with me but doing well I guess.

Now I will go into all the supplies that make up my grow room. First of all I have 4 Tri-wall poster boards. I have mylar attached to the inside of them and constructed the poster boards so that the grow space is approx. 3ft X 3ft X 5 ft tall. I have a small fan to keep air circulating around the grow box. There is no need for incoming and outgoing fans I open the box every 6 hours or so seems like I cant stop looking at it. Also you can see on the light setup I have where I attached some plastic tie straps to the lights so it will never fall down again on my plant. This is by far an easy closet grow though for sure. Going to put it under 18 and 6 for 2 more months even though the nodes are already alternating so I could put it into flower but I will wait a little longer. Plus while this one is on Vegging for 18-6 under a HPS 600 Watt bulb me and my partner will have two autoflowering strains going at the same time. They are Fast Bud and Speed Devil #2 from Sweet Seeds. So once the autoflowers are gone we will put this Blue Mystic on its own flowering cycle. I will throw some pictures on here of the 2 autoflowering strains along with the Blue Mystic and we will also be starting some Great White Shark where the Blue Mystic was for 9 weeks or so while the Blue Mystic is flowering. So we will hopefully be going through 4 different strains in a matter of weeks. Stay tuned

Well it been a little over 2 weeks and the Great White Shark, Fast Bud, and Speed Devil #2 are looking nice just figured I would post some pics for an update. The Blue Mystic is also doing really good think I may need to change its pot because I feel like it has over grown the one it has now. But I will keep on posting pics for sure! The Blue Mystic is the 2 pictures on the right! The great white shark is the 3 picture. The far right pictures are of the Fast Bud bottom pot of the picture and the Speed Devil #2 is the top pot in the picture! They are on 18 and 6 along with the Blue Mystic in the same grow area. But they are all looking good about another 7 weeks or so the 2 autoflowering pots will be done the ones on the far right! Then going to put both the Great White Shark and the Blue Mystic on 12 on 12 off. Cant wait to see what happens, It will be like Christmas again!

Some nugs from last grow this is me and my buddies second time growing but I think we are doing well. I you guys have any pointers or anything send them my way because I by no means no everything but am willing to learn anything!

I have topped the Blue Mystic again and I topped I know atleast 30 times so hopefully there will be about 60 tops then going to top again because it still has about 1 and a half months of vegging left. Got to love those burning bushes lol! Be back with more pics before too long!!

The auto flowers have about 15 more days left I will be posting more pictures soon. The Fast Bud is on the first pic. The Speed Devil #2 is the second pic. The 3rd and 4th are of the Fast Bud. The 5th and 6th is of the Blue Mystic from Royal Queen Seed Co. and the 7th is of the Speed Devil #2 and the last pic is of the Fast Bud.

any updates on the blue M? im sure you harvested by now just placed a couple of B.M fem seeds.

I grew this last year. Excellent smell and taste. Easy to grow. Not the most potent strain, but the flavor and bag appeal kept people asking for it.

I have just started Blue Mistic. They are 3 weeks old now.
Its my first time growing and they seem to be doing great.
Any advice welcome mate..
