Blue Mountain?

So I stopped and grabbed some buds from a close friend who is the only person between myself and the actual grower and from what he tells me, what I grabbed is a strain called Blue Mountain. I've never heard of this strain nor have I been able to find any viable info on it. Has anyone on RIU heard of or grown/smoked this strain before? I definitely found it to be extremely potent, very pungent and the high was incredible and if I'm not mistaken seems to be an indica dom. I could be wrong but I'm curious to know more as it was amazing at easing my lower back and neck pain.

Blue Mountain is Jamaica. Known for MJ and coffee from that area.
I would be pretty suprised if it were truly Blue Mountain. Very, very hard to get access to it, kind of a local thing. Most likely it is a cross, especially considering you are saying indica. Blue Mountain is 100% sativa.

I'm pretty positive it's a cross... I did find info on a breeder called Kaola Seeds that carries a blue mountain strain. With reports of yields as much as 1000 grams per plant at 160cm

i went to jamaica for my honeymoon and stayed in negril. had some blue mountain that was really good (still wet) that was loaded with good seeds, so it's definitely not hard to get in seed form. most of the good growers are up in the blue mountains from what i was told. i don't think much of their stuff is sensi as it's all outdoor. i didn't bring any seeds back, but a friend did when he was there. :-) definitely a sativa w/ some racey ness (sp?), but put a big smile on your face. some of that could've been from staying a week on a beautiful island. had a very unique smell, that i can't really begin to describe. I would definitely recognize it, but have no clue how to put it in words.

one guy passed me on a jet ski while he was smoking some afghani so i assume people have been trading/inbreeding on the island for a long time now. hard to know 100% what's what.
