Dude you should really calm yourself
And you should also take a second out of your busy scholarly life and read this page a bit, maybe you'd see the 90000000000000000000000000 other posts about growing with LEDS on this site, maybe do some research and reading into actual people actually growing with LEDs and their actual results, instead of what the manufacturers tell you about the product
Yes, LED's will grow weed, duh, an incandescant light will grow weed, but theres a big difference between weed growing and weed thriving
You are correct about the NM's of LED's, they are made that way on purpose (duh) for that very reason, so your not the first to discover they put out the same wavelengths that plants use. The problem is lumens. No Led light can put out anywhere near a fraction of lumens that even a low wattage HID light will produce. Doesnt matter if your plants can absorb all the light produced if not enough is produced
Oh yeah and lose the fucking attitude people are just trying to help you fuckstick

yah! whatever you said!

i lost you at WESTERN, PA

I have been experimenting with the LED panels. There is only 1 good reason to use them and that is if you have a heat problem. They work ok along with CFL's but the stuff about 90w LED = 400w HPS is an outright lie.
They are great for adding some light to the bottom of the plant where you can not stick a bulb without burning it. I also found them useful to get an extra inch or 2 oh headroom in a small space.
Do not use them as your primary light source.

Marchold would you mind providing some specs on the LED's you used? Were they second generation with more than 1W per LED? There is a very big difference between the two I have been using a combo of LED, HID and CFL's for a while now with great results which goes along with what you said about supplementing but not as a main light source
