Hi Guys,

I used to be a regular on the forums a few years ago, however due to the nature of the business I had to call it quits for a few years. I've recently decided get going again & wanted to get some opinions on the layout of my grow room/setup.

This will be my 4th indoor grow if all goes to plan, however I'm yet to pop my hydro cherry so to speak & would like to make this my first DWC/Hydro grow. In doing so I'd love to get a better idea as to how many plants I should grow in such a space. Below is my setup list, however I'm still not sure how many pots I'll be able to fit in this space (especially being 5.7 Gallons each).

I'm thinking 8 pots will be a good fit for this space, however I'd love to push it further if possible. For the record I'll be doing a fair bit of LST to spread out the canopy and increase the yield.

I'm thinking something like...

Strains -
2-4 x Blue Dream
2-4 x Great White Shark
2-4 x Super Silver Haze
2-4 x Amnesia Haze

Grow Room (small separate tent) -
1-2 250w CMH Lights
8 - 12 Pot Mini Hydro System (Any knowledge on what I need here would be fantastic - Size/Brand/Type???)

Flowering Room -
3 x 600w HPS Duel Spectrum & MH Bulbs w/ extra large reflectors - Best quality I can find on Ebay/Amazon
8-12 Pot DWC Hydro system - 26 Literes (5.7 Gallons) each - http://goo.gl/BOSOx9
VonHaus Compact Portable 2L Dehumidifier with Auto Humidistat & Brushless Motor
1-2 20-40 watt extractor fans (one push/one pull?) Both at 220-540 m3/hr

What do you guys think of the general setup? Overkill on anything or not enough? I'd mainly like to know what the best method of yielding roughly 2lbs here is? 4-8 large plants or lots of smaller ones? SCROG or nah? Nutrients & any other recommendations are also very welcome.

Thanks for your time & It's great to be back,

current culture h2o system. using the uc8 and have happy with it. ucpro11 would work well in your veg tent. if you don't want to spend the money for this system, there are several diy videos on youtube for similar systems.

2x600s in your 6x6 is already a lot to deal with, what are you using to control Temps? a/c? running vented hoods or open?
got a hydro store in ur hood?
go see what they offer. having a local store for good advice/quick merch is essential. every method has its challenges, u may need a water cooler for your dwc...I personally prefer a top feed system for ease and convenience...

Keep it to one strain different ones react differently to certain nutes, temps, etc especially if you plan on doing a rdwc
