These Blue cheese are different phenos that I got. They are organized in numbers to keep in track which pheno I am going to keep. Starting with 10 seeds I found 3 males out of 10 seed pack. I threw the males and they were numbered 1,2 and 10. I have Females that are numbered 3 to 9. Currently I am showing you 4 harvested plants and currently waiting for the last 3 to finish in 2 to 3 weeks. They were put in flower 3 weeks apart.

The first 2 pictures are #3 which has a nice ligtht sweet smell to it. semi dense (could be more dense though) Has pretty good resin production a bit light green. The clones from her were kept for further evaluation. Smokes nice, My favorite out of the 4.

The picture 3 and 4 are #4 Nice bud formation but yeilded very little compared to the other 3. Upbeat type of high, this one makes my hands shake. Clones from her were discarded.

The picture 5 is #5 super dense bud formation and very quick finisher. This one looked to be done at 48 days which I let it go to 57 days (possibily could go longer). Clones from her were kept for further evaluation.

The last picture is #6 This was an bitch to trim so leafy and on the lighter side weird looking pistils. Smelled great but pretty fluffy which I didn't like. Clones from her were discarded.

Wait there is more to go, I still have 3 more to test out before I chose 2 or 3 of them for another round to finalize which one to keep. I actually discarded the clones from #7 female plant since the stems are so skinny and weak. I hate working with weak plants. #8 and 9 are looking awesome and can't wait for them to finish and smoke them.

Once, the Blue Cheese are done with. The rest of this Thread will be mainly about the Space Queen airpots vs hempy also Botanicare PBP bloom vs Dyna-Gro bloom. I will break them down to see which nutrient is more effective in taste, smell, quality, yeild and pricing. As for Veg I used the Dyna Gro line since veg doesn't really matter what you use as long as it has good amount of Nitrogen and Potassium.

The Blue Cheese were my first indica dominant plants that I worked with in a while so I learned that one needs to veg a bit longer than you would with hybrids or sativa dominant.

BTW how does one post the pictures big so you guys don't have to click on the picture to enlarge it? Thanks in advance.

Here are the pictures of the last 3 females of Blue Cheese.

Pic 1 & 2 are BC#7 which I have discarded her clones due to weak stems and growth as I mentioned in the previous post, so I won't be writing about this one.

Pic 3 & 4 are BC#8 This one sure is one stinky girl. It has the smell of blue cheese, the berry sweet smell to it. Long solid cola formation. We will see how well she produces in the next few weeks.

Pic 5, 6 & 7 are BC#9 Smells like sweet cream berries not as stinky as #8 but quite nice. We will find out the best smelling one in cure whoop. She produces large wide chunky tiangle shaped cola.

I wanted to show my friend's Chemdawg x kindy kush. This one has the structure of an sativa OG version with lemon fuel skunk smell. He used Botanicare CNS17. I am pretty impressed with that line of nutrients, however I don't like the concept of how much is needed to put into the water compared to Dyna-Gro. That is telling me that Dyna-Gro is more concentrated. This is probably the biggest plant in our garden and we shall find out the yeild in a couple days. The second picture, the red color was caused by my finger covering the flash and I thought it was cool.

Ok, I wanted let everyone know that I have changed the nutrient challenge. I was planning to do Botanicare PBP vs Dyna-Gro. I have come to a decision to use up the Foxfarm line since I have the full liquid and salt line sitting around, so I might as well use it up in this challenge. So, the hempys are Foxfarm vs Dyna-gro. That challenge is for informative purpose for other new growers or someone looking for simplicity.

Keep in mind that The airpot plants are 19 days into flower while the hempys are only 11 days into flower. Also the Hempy was used with 1TBSP of xtreme gardening Mykos. Let me tell you that Mykos is the shit! I see more branches to create a bushy plant with a bunch more budsites in my growing experience. Also I am new to Hydro so that could be the reason why the hempys are a bit smaller? I have yet to see any deficiency in the Hempy bucket.

Airpots were used only 800-900ppm while the hempy are used with 800ppm until yesterday I added more to bring the ppm to 1200 in the hempys. Any experienced Hempy growers with some advice would be greatly appreciated.

Pic 1 and 2 are the ones in airpots. Look how big and thick those plants are woot that would be the mykos doing the job. Dyna-gro

Pic 2 and 4 are Airpot vs Hempy, Left one is the Airpot with left being the hempy. Look at the size difference in only 8 days apart. Maybe the hempy creates smaller plants with bigger buds that would yield more? We shall find out in a few weeks.

Pic 5 and 6 are Foxfarm in Hempy bucket

Pic 7 and 8 are Dyna-gro in Hempy. There aren't much difference at the moment since this is the only 2nd watering with different nutrients. Again we shall see in a few weeks.

Thanks for reading folks.:bigjoint:

One of the things that you have to watch out for with hempies is planting your clones too shallow in the media, particularly if you didn't use vermiculite or had a poor distribution of verm through the perlite. Until their roots strike the bottom, growth can be stunted by a lack of nutes or water if it gets too dry at the top -- watering them with a small amount of water twice daily can help avoid this.

Even though hempies with younger plants in them don't strictly -need- watering more than once every two days, I prefer daily watering when in flower, to flush out any salt buildups and to keep the nutrient profile from getting out of whack. The wonderful thing about hempies is that overwatering just doesn't happen, so you can always correct nute/pH problems just by watering them (with whatever strength nutes you prefer) more frequently or with more volume and using this as a sort of flush.

I was just kidding bro! I put the smiley face there for a reason ha. Those look amazing! Your making me want to toss the ones I have and order some big buddha version. I still have 2 more finishing up and have an smoke report on all of them. They are on their 62nd day now so I will chop them Thursday or Friday. How many days does yours take in flower? Get this you got 6 oz off 1 plants when I avg half oz on these. I am not sure that it might be because I just bought a light mover and it was my first time using the light mover 400w might be too small for the 6 ft light mover. I added another 400w to make it 800w so hopefully that would improve the yield. Usually I avg 2 to 4 oz a plant.

Nice! I love the purple. Would that be genetic or did you do something with the nutes to cause it purple? Foliar feed?

Thanks, I will keep that in mind. I did give it water everday the first week then after that I would go 3 days between waterings. That probably is why its a bit small? I did Tahoe OG in Hempies, but only in Veg and it was freaking huge. I just noticed that I said that I used Mykos in Hempies. Stoner I am, I actually meant I used the Mykos in Airpots. Thats why they are bigger.
