BloomBox

Have mine in my double car garage. Like i said before had people over they walked right by it. When i asked them what they thought it was before i showed them the all said "i didn't give it any thought" now thats stealth. I'm sure a similar grow box could be built for alot less but i'm not handy. Yes a big yellow truck delivered but me being 54 and established in neighborhood didn't seem to be a problem. Overall i would give it a 9 out of ten rating. But heck what i know.

Right on southie. The easiest place to hide something is in plain sight. The thing about the BloomBox is, if you're not looking for it, it can look like a freezer, a gun locker, a fridge or any other big white appliance.

I getting just a tinsy winsey chuckle out of this .......... there are a thousand ways to do this hobby...and ten or a hundred people won't agree on all the parameters and aspects that we can otherwsie say we control. in the end, its personal choice, made based on the indvidual priorities of the person making the decision. I am MOST pleased with my decision, and it has worked for me in every respect that it was promoted on. Just as I have seen a whole manner of approaches to growing their herb on here, and many many are hugely successful......the list would be long! we're all just here doing our thing, and enjoying the trip.

So grateful for that. I wish more of our customers would log their experiences and I'm working very hard to put some programs in place for this.

more soon!
:) check out a little help from our friends in the indoor grow section !

Jake you said:
Hey Highclass,
from the feedback I get I would say average yield from a Bloombox with Co2 and good nutrients is about 1 lb per cycle. Let me know if you have any other questions at all & have a great day!
1lb from 9 plants isnt much imo,I would be very disapointed to get 1 lb from 9 plants, then you add the co2 factor&being hydro thats not much at all.Thats 1.77oz/plant.I understand its nice to have a automated system but if i didnt get at least 2.5oz/plant with this unit i (personally)would be very dissappointed.Your site doent give any prices or dementions,it just says something like 30cuft i believe(for the whole camber)what about the flowering camber; How big is that? The site also say it has 3' of vertical space, well those are large plants imo.I learned for large plants in flowering you want 2sqft/plant,does this have even Have 1sqft of space/plant.Dont get me wrong i like the automation&the stelthness but not a good yeild imo.Good luck&Stay Safe!!

Mr I Can Do That For Half
Im all for someone to show me they used all the sites in the bc bloombox and yielded over a lb of dry ultra tight high end product.I have yet to see this and when people who can order this product for you at profit suggest you not get it as thier professional opinion I tend to look deeper.I myself as an individual dont see the worth yet..yes yet.Pleas do post the yields and links to as many grows using these as possible to show me different thats all I can say.but until then I in my opinion from researching need to see other successful grows that show the claims the company makes these units ca achieve first.thats all on it love them or leave them like said its a personal choice and my thoughts are my own opinions and not bc's opinion but he has issues with those who dont see things his way but someone are like that.

Hey FF

What type of results do you think i might get using BCBB? At the prices here any relief is most helpful. What do you consider a good yeild for one (* 9) plant in a BCBB growin with Ocean Forrest? Any inside tips you can pass on nutes water? Using Dr. Hornby Big bud any thoughts. Growin Bubbleberry NL/Gani and AK47.

I gotta agree with this man. ^^

Me and my friend spent 4200 on the producer royale kit. Came with that wack dryer and a whole kit (900$) for the box. Included food, not even everything on the feeding schedule they provide, and backup parts for the box.

It's been the biggest waste of money, and im now looking to get a 4x4 hut. Stealth? Youve got to be kidding me, light leaks out of any spot it can, and imagine toting a big ass metal box around. Ive literally had to cover it up in the back of a BORROWED truck to move it, with a tent I imagine you would just fold it up. These modular boxes might look "professional" and such but they are wayy to much in my opinion. If youre gonna look at anything I'd suggest the Homegrown hydro's product. It has bigger fans, ph ppm probes, A 600 on a track, and twice the space of that producer. Can even get AC on the damn things.

It just seems as if companies are realizing people are doing this growing shit, and they capitalize with these run of the mill cabinets and a 3600 price tag. With the modular grow boxes everything seems soo perfect but after the less than average yields and scratched walls and doors from just moving the thing I'm going my separate ways. I do think I'ma take the lumatek ballast and bulbs out though, that's about the only thing worth keeping out of the pos.

Who the fuck will rent a bus with a generator might I add, those run on gas right? fumes and noise werent a problem huh? and throw 5 producers in it till stuff "settled" down

Hey pimp

All i know is i'm smoking a fattie of bubleberry from the BCBB have already recouped half of my investment. Yeah i had a light leak but i just tightened a screw problem solved. I do whish i had a whole room to grow out but for me not an option. Have a friend who has a hydro hut i'm killing him in ease and yeild. He did pay less for his pup-tent.
I look at the old saying "Let the buyer beware" I made a choice so i would not blame the company. Take it slow.

well I wouldnt normaly bash something that i currently have, but lets give it a try. Bcnl - please remember that this is my opinion and please dont shun me :P.. I would have to agree with FF, the box are not all that they are advertised. I picked up a produce from a budy of mine. 1 year old when i got it. never asked why he was getting rid of it, but whatever.
let me make sure i make this very clear for all the pot heads :), this box is far from stealth. these are advertised as indoor grow boxes, not the most super stealthy thing you could find next to a stealth fighter. Mine has light leaks at every sheet metal connection as well as out the whole door outline. I know what the argument is "you must be doing something wrong".. no, there are just major light leaks out of the doors and every cornet of this machine.
smell is a whole nother great thing. It smells. not alot, but enough to make any paranoid smoker think twice. think about it. i know most of us dont have a degree in how air moves, but you really dont need one to figure this out. you have a air intake fan that blows into the box. no restriction for air in. then you have a exhaust fan (same as air intake) blowing out through a carbon filter. out does not equal in and there for you have odor leaks out of any cracks (ie door, spaces in sheet metal) I have a whole nother filter and seperate fan running when the lights are on in the box. I unplugged my air in fan and it helped alot (granted my basement must have perfect temps for this thing day = 76 night = 55)

as for usage of sites. I agree with FF, there would be very little possibility to grow 18 plants in the space i have. I dont care what BC says, i have to say no way. I currently have 13 out of 18 sites being ocuppied and it is a mess. Not in a bad way (other than i wish i had a bit more space) but there seems to be plant everwhere. Had to cut down 2 fem's just to make room for some of the monsters i have growing. I know whats advertised but once again, BS. on a 18 site, i would say max would be 12 possibly 10. on a 9 site. mybe 4 or 5. Using all the site would just give you plants that are fighting for light.

as for noise, you can hear the air pump bubbling inside and the fans give off a good amount of noise. not completely silent, but no worse than a box fan running. air pump gives off a bit more, but put some dynamat (sound deadner mat) on the bottom under the resivor (thats between the bottom of the box and the resivor) and poof, no more problems.

i know some people will complain about the size of the box and the price. Size of it. doo some research befor the complaint. Granted this box is bigger than what i expected, but for grow area, way better than anything i could come up with. Im ok with the size. let leave it at that. Price.. also get over it. i know it sounds like i think this box is crap, but its far from it. $3200 is a great price for what your getting. an automated box that you have to spend maybe a total of 2 or 3 hours a week "dealing" with durring veg and flower. For me, i know i could have bought something or built something for less than half, but you get what you pay for.

Im not here to bash this product. I wanted one for a long time, and i will say that they are the greatest thing since sliced bread because the claim that it is an all in one, indoor grow unit and that is exactly what it is. Now thats also not to say that yes, i have an older model and it was used, and i do know that these guys spend alot in R and D to make sure they are solving these little problems. MY final thought, Lots of money for this thing, but does exactly what it is advertised to do. future generations of boxes will just get better and better. This is definitly a company taht listens to their buyers and fixes problems accordingly. Hope it helps.

Hey there,

Have you called tech support at all? You know we're here 16 hours per day, 7 days per week to support all of our customers, right? If you'd like to e-mail me your contact info at [email protected], I'd be happy to look up your account and connect you with a support rep.

I'm not sure I fully understand what exactly went wrong for you here.

is there a way to actually use both of the chambers, or even all of the sites? those sites are really close together, it seems like even in the flowering chamber they wouldn't be able to grow that large without running into eachother and the the vegatative chamber looks like a quarter of the size.

Growin in Ocean Forrest soil and after reading info on this ng am using small pots can get about 20 in chamber but never do. I take clones (5 at a time) each week after rooting veg for 14 days then place in flower chamber. I call it HASOG Half assed sea of green. Been averaging 14 grams per. but getting better at this.

Thats per plant. 2.5 oz per week. With Co2 getting them finished in about 8 weeks. My stash is getting big. No matter how you grow it using NLBB, build your own box in your closet whatever its a blast never having to go without top quality bud and with little cash. Also have learned alot from this ng. Still whish i could grow outside but ...

That sounds like a pretty fair assessment to me. As a box owner myself, I have the same complaints as you. Light leakage, noise and smell are the biggest areas of concern for anyone in this world and we are under constant scrutiny for it, as we should be.

In the past year, to address light leakage, we have changed the doors, increased the amount of rounded edges and increased the number of sealed surfaces in our boxes. We have also redesigned the vent covers.

For noise, the air pumps are definitely the noisiest part of the set-up. The new boxes have an independent kill switch so you can turn off these pumps while in veg. I like your suggestion regarding lining under the tub as well. I believe that the air pump's vibrations are amplified by the boxes construction, causing it to act like one big speaker. Dampening the impact of the air pump is an easy fix as you have shown.

In terms of smell, we identified the back-pressure caused by the intake fan as a focal point. We're experimenting with a bunch of different fans and configurations to ensure that we get strong negative pressure through the carbon filter. We are also experimenting with dessicants to offset the performance reduction caused by humidity in the filter.

Just curious, have you called customer support to get help with any of this, or did you figure it out on your own? We try to make it easy to mod the box yourself anyways ;-)

No i havent called customer support due to not buying dirrectly. No worries though, im not a stupid person :).. I figured you guys are on the ball for trying to always reinvent your products to get something better... just like tork timers to grosmart.. great move.. i know things take time, thats why i wouldnt bash the product.. sure its expensive and there are some minor issues, but even if you were to build your own, you'll still always find ways later on to make your sytem better.. and you even admited that there are still some minor inconviences when running this. hey, what company ever admits to such things.. but hey, at least you admite to it and tell us that you are working on it. good marks in my book.

And to anyone here thinking of purchasing one of these... I say "go for it"... here you have the company on this website looking for customer feedback to help them in their design... kinda like we are part of the R and D team ourselves.. what other company do you know of that would take the time to reasearch what customers are saying about their products.. i dont know of many..

bcnl, what would have been a great addition to this box, some temp gauges.. i have an indor/ourdoor them with remote. Its nice to be able to monitor temps inside and outside these boxes. also some sort of way to fill the resivor without pulling the top up or pulling out a pot to pour the water in.. perhaps a on/off valve with some hose that would run into the resivor.. i dunno.. you probably are already working on something like this anyways.
