Was playing around on amazon earlier and came across this kelp extract. It’s Bloom City CleanKelp and it’s made with multiple strains of kelp and actually fairly cheap.
Anyone here ever tried the stuff and if so what where your results and if not is there a reason other than not knowing about it?

I went ahead and ordered a gallon since it wasn’t that expensive and regardless of responses here I’ll post my results with it in the future

Well that’s not entirely true if it is what it says. Most other kelp extracts use only a single strain of kelp where this one has 10 different ones including the main 2 used by various companies. That is what caught my attention.

Hopefully some here can chime in with actual first hand experience, if not I’ll be happy to let everyone know how it works, or doesn’t.

That's just marketing stuff. All kelp comes from the ocean and contain basically the same minerals and nutrients. It's not as if each one of these 10 different varieties is bringing something different to the table.

Yes and no, different strains have different levels of hormones and minerals. One strain has a higher level of auxins and another cytokines.

The statement you made is about as logical as saying all cannabis is the same, it all comes from dry land. The difference is all marketing so you may as well just grow some ditch weed instead of the hype strains.

You're not going to notice any difference using that kelp product with 10 different kelps than one that's 100% North Atlantic Kelp.

Different hormones and minerals? Yeah right. I've been growing plants of one kind or another for close to 50 years. Never have I seen such a naive group of growers as cannabis growers. Many believe all the crap marketing tossed at them. Some of us don't. You probably believe the claims that an LED pulling 150 watts from the wall is comparable to a 1000 watt HID.

Not sure what to think of this, never said I believed all the hype. If I was a hype guy I would’ve went with one of the name brand kelp liquids that cost twice as much.

So answer me this, why respond to a post asking for experience with a product that you have never used? If you have a suggestion for a product you feel is superior then please post it but to just post to talk about how a product you have never used is “marketing hype” and essentially junk and do nothing but bash it and me says a lot about you.

So please enlighten me to your superior, almighty grow method since I’m just a simp that just follows the bright colors and funny pictures with my wallet wide open.
