Blaze..Recirculating DWC in FAQ help???

hello, im gonna start building this setup https://www.rollitup.org/view.php?pg=faq&cmd=article&id=703 but i have a question, if im only gonna do 6 buckets instead of 12 will i still need a 45 gallon res?? or can it be smaller? if it can, what size is suitable for a 6 bucket system? i would really appreciate if anyone can help me out and/or give me some ideas....thanks!!! toker

i would asume you could use a smaller res. but im not sure i mean it is half as many plants, half as much water used and same with nutes soooo i can only assume that you could at least half it so 22 gallon, you could go smaller but then you may need to add water/nute solution more often. but you might want to get some more opinions from people that use hydro. I'm actually running this same setup with only 6 buckets. I use a 27 gallon reservoir with a 5 gallon control bucket.
