Mornin'.

Wow...I love it. You can never replace a pet but loving again is always the best medicine. I always tell folks they should go get a another pet immediately...simply because you can. Such things are not possible with other losses.

And YES...lots of energy. Just like having toddlers except you can't legally chain kids up...:D

:( on the dispensary purchase. I hate giving those greedy fuckers any $$. I've only been in them when folks come from out of state and want the novelty of paying too much for cannabis products. I'm like "I'll GIVE you some weed or hash"...but they want the amusement park weed experience....so they go. I still usually give em something...and if you were closer...I'd do the same for you @RetiredToker76.

It was 78F yesterday here. Will likely get close to that again today. Looks like 37-38F for the low. Warmest yet of the season. In about a month it'll start landing in the 50's...where we'll stay for most of the Summer. Just about time to throw the windows open and have that creek sound pour in all night.

Don't leave us hangin' ... which one?

Lucky vous!

Our local course, Oliver's Nest, was slated to open this past Thursday. With the plentiful rain we've had these past couple of days, opening day has been pushed until Monday.
I am a Taylormade guy but I did not buy their latest offering. $600 is just too much for this guy. Not like it's grow equipment, right?

I've been reading lots of reviews and people.seem to agree the last 2 years of carbon face drivers doesn't hold up to the Sim2 from a couple years ago. Just as long with tighter dispersion and half the price brand new.

Appreciate it. I'm just 2 weeks out from harvest and things are looking good, this is normal for me I'm almost always buying my bud the last three weeks before harvest.

Unfortunately our medical system, well just sucks all the way around. When the law first passed the dispensaries flooded the streets with their prototype distillate carts and drove just about every illegal supplier out of the game. My old weed guy is now an RV repair tech, unknown if he still slings on the side or not, but most of the suppliers we worked with dried up about 6 years ago now. There are a few street level sellers I still hang with, but driving to them is about 5X as far as the dispensary from my place.

For the most part I can get ground flower from the dispensary for about the same price I can get top shelf on the street, if I buy at least a quarter pound that is. Unless I go for lower level bulk on the streets, there's little to no discount over corporate weed. I do miss coming home with a couple turkey bags to divide up for resale though. Unfortunately, most my old customers have moved, gone the dispensary way, or died. So buying in bulk to get the cheapest price possible isn't really feasible anymore.

I've got wax and distillate for weeks, I just prefer flower over everything else and this mystery sale is entertaining if nothing else. An ounce of top shelf on the street would cost me between $75 - 150 depending on who's holding. So this sale falls in this "meh" price range.

Flower has always been expensive down here, every great once in a while I fall into an unbelievable deal but that's usually for concentrates, right now I've got a girl getting me shatter at $4 g by the ounce, but street flower has gotten much more scarce since legalization.

Being a hermit doesn't help either, I could probably hit a single music festival and come back with 20 hookups, I just don't feel like buying a new tent or talking to people.

Right - the Qi10. That club sounded more like a new Infiniti model as opposed to a Taylor Made kahuna. I am with you ... we don't have to pay $600 to hook the ball into the trees. We can do that quite nicely with last year's clubs @ $250. And by going the last year route, I still had a few sheckles left to throw that head on a mid spin/mid launch Graffaloy shaft.

Exactly ... I haven't grown anything decent with my Callaway driver yet. I'll stick to the BSpec & VL's.

You got an older SIM2?

Thanks for sharing the personal take/experience re "legalization"/etc. I miss the old days when you had to have balls to play on a commercial scale and the risk was well rewarded. Now everyone is doing it...it's something new...and they are all experts.

I had one guy for 20+ years who came over and alleviated me of whatever I could grow per cycle and turned it into $100 bills. Started with a crawlspace grow in '91....ended up with the entire double car garage taken over...and a bedroom....and an entire basement in a mountain log home I built that was 55 miles from my house. I just couldn't keep up. (even growing hydroponically) What a fun and profitable time. Pre-medical dispensaries...pre-recreational dispensaries/etc. It was wide open/totally illegal/scary at times. Then they legitimized the pop-up medical dispensaries that came about in around 2009 with a Bill in the State house in 2010. That started the price tumble on the street...then Rec hit in 2014....and that sealed the deal for most folks who were rollin in the shadows.

I moved about the time it all fell apart. Talked to my guy last year for the first time in like 8 years and he told me he quit smoking weed 5 years ago.
Heehhee.....yup..."Change". My guess is that there's still a Black Market out there but like you...in total Hermit mode...and not really needing the cash/risk/associations...I'm limited to a few very close friends who every-so-often beg for bubble hash.

At least here in CO you can possess all you grow "legally"....but since nobody checks...it's up to your 'nads how big you wanna go. It's all come so far here that the Sheriff got tired of fuckin with any of it and only looks for HUGE grows/big fishies. For us pee-ons...it's now a "Code Violation" that brings Code Enforcement folks...not the cops. Thing is...they aren't coming unless yer reported....and if yer in the sticks like me/aren't growing for sale/etc. it's something that isn't worth worrying about anymore. Just let it fly/do what you please and put that shit aside.:finger::eyesmoke:

Oh shit...sorry to interrupt the Golf talk!

I worked here for almost a decade. At first...Summer only. Started as the Sand trap maintenance guy...ended as the Irrigation Forman with a full time. salaried, year-round position. Golf in Summer...Snow removal/cross-country track setting/plowing ponds for skating in Winter. Oh..and fuckin off and being high the entire time...LOL. Seems far more stuffy/regimented now that tee times go for huge money...but we had a great time all those eons ago... https://www.eaglevailgolfclub.com/
