Thank you for the kind words.
My first grow was in a couple of boxes much like this, a couple of auto's in the garage. It was one of the best grows I did, got 10 ounces of trimmed bud from 2 plants, in miracle grow, no fertilizers just tap water. Plants stayed green all the way through. Took a month longer than advertised by the breeder.
I have a friend here, who has a Ph.D. in Biochem focused on Plant Physiology and he uses Miracle Grow with great success. It's a good substrate if you know how to grow :D I'm not so good at growing which is why I stay high tech.

I had forgotten how the last drink of percolated coffee can be a little chewy. At least I had the percolator as a backup though.
It's back! The poor mans grow tent. A wardrobe box from UHaul, duct tape and a cheapo grow light.
Growing a 2 dollar Red hair Mexican auto from Blimburn. Meanwhile the photos are suffering in the proper grow tent. The miracle grow potting soil at this point is a failure. The photo's are not liking it. I will endeavor to muddle through. It was not the lazy man's panacea as I had hoped. The auto on the other hand is flourishing. It loves the miracle grow. The theory is the light is the heat source, since it's an auto I leave it on 20 hours a day through the night when it's coldest and then dark in the hottest part of the day. It sits right next to the water heater so maybe it's getting extra co2 from that.
The box:

3 weeks from sprout yesterday. I topped the shit out of it a few days ago, for an auto I am impressed at how bushy it's getting.

I like it. My son wants me to get one of those room divider screens for my LED kluge veg light but I plan on using the box from the LED light I bought as a blinder hanging from the light itself.
Hoping to get my back fixed the first part of next year, I hate being incapacitated.
Mornin.
