Yea id dry some prior to be able to use when needed, fresh picked herbs Thai basil and Greek oregano are great. Lemon thyme was interesting one year.
Best Christmas gift we ever got was a wreath made of fresh bay leaves. It took us years to get through it and I use bay extensively! It doesn't thrive here. I keep a plant around and harvest it every few years.20240211_102607.jpg

"Kids smoke the darndest things..." Cart Linkletter :eyesmoke::D

I don't buy @ the shops here (CO) or smoke butane products. Most of the shops do have a menu online though....so I checked some prices for reference.

Bubble hash...$36. Live resin...same price. Live rosin...$65. Of course...add the 15%-20% tax on top of that... ouchie. I'd go broke smokin that hash....and I could get rich if I could sell it for that price...LOL. But I don't sell it...I just smoke too much and give it away. :D Keep in mind these are mountain town prices...not Front Range prices. down there irt's a war on pricing. You may be able to check on "Westword" 's internet site for current prices..but I've seen butainted fare there in years past for as low as $15 a gram...

@Jeffislovinlife ... The chain/links reminded me of college back in the day of pull tabs on beer cans. My buddy's off campus house had a wall that was a work in progress. Every beer popped... the ring got put on the chain. It was an old house with 10 ft ceilings...and after 3 years the entire wall...about 15 ft long x 10 ft tall was covered in rings.

then one night a guy stole the laser (big deal in '77..not common/etc.) from the science lab and starting shining it on the wall when we were all tripping. Yeah...insane...just insane. Definitely the first light show in that Podunk town!

I grew this from 2 branches I found lying on the ground in a building at work in maybe 1999? It's almost too heavy to lift now.View attachment 5369491
That's awesome I would of done the same thing! Nice work I know what it entails to get that look. Surprised you don't have red tinted leaves being that close to window like mine maybe that Genesis doesn't.

Bloom tent shot. 3 Slymers in front. 2 Hella Jelly left of those (the bigger buds). In back are 2 Afghani/Diesel crossings called "Snowbound"...mid/far right is a Cherry Creme Canoli. (those 2 selections are from "Pure Breeding") All are @51 days of 12/12. I'll put some close up pics on the respective breeder's threads of the Slymer/Hellas. Wish I had something other than this zoom lens...but you get the idea.

Early bloomers on left side are Dante's/Chimera/White Truffle/SpecimenX/RS-11/yadda\yadda crossings from seeds I bought off Strainly (spin that wheel!) and Melonsicle and Pisthash from TH Seeds. 21 days in.

Its in a North facing window so it never gets direct sun. I recently pruned the heck out of it and now there's lots of new branch sites erupting. I throw watered down grow nutes to it every couple months. Fun plant. I probably won't repot it again. I would need a car hoist to support it and the pot probably wouldn't survive!

I don't have a grow journal here so I'll just torture you all with my pics. :D

This is "Snowbound" (Afghan Cherries x Candy Diesel) from Pure Breeding @ 51 daze. Definitely starting to live up to her name. Both of these are very stanky and frostin' up well... and yes...there's another damn hair! No prize for me!

Yea thats the great thing with jades they like to be root bound, I've seen some giants in a small pot might have to few years down. I bet if just cut around pot and pull right up one big root ball with out breaking the pot but if can't get help or worried transition problem then yea your fine. They say only grows Like 2 inches a year mine definitely grows more than that was from cuttings from pruning a friend's jade so easy to propagate.

I saw a place that had "Oaxacan" seeds. they were proud of them for sure. Not sure I'm willing to roll the dice again after two tries at "Columbian" seeds.
What I'm growing is allegedly a cross of oaxacan and colombian gold. It was also supposed to be an auto flower, one of the 2 dollar NASC seeds from Blimburn. Damn thing will probably flower for a long time, I hope it doesn't get too hot before it can finish.
