blasted weed

Hey guys hope everyone is dabbin out to the fullest. Just curious what you guys do with your blasted weed? I usually unpack tube and shake the weed around in a container and repack it and blast twice and then throw out. But since weed still has tane is it I usually leave it outside for few hours and shake it around a bit to dry it up. Last night I was shaking my blasted weed and my hand was covered in kief. I sorta collected it for the side of bowl and had a shit load for just an oz. I ended up just puttin in the middle of next blast. I'm not really worried about it as I have plenty of weed and still getting just under 20%yeilds. So just wondering there is a more senseable way to use it? Blast a third time? Thanks

You may be collecting” empty stalks” my friend...

The trichome looks to still be in tact to the naked eye, but put it under magnification, and you will see that just the stalk remains, and the gland had been” melted” away..

After two spays, there is little to nothing left..

You are doing great Mr near 20% dude.

I re blast all my good stuff. (Stuff that yields good, along with color)

I tend to not re blast most stuff though. To much new work :)

It's up to you. Quality did degrade with the re blasr though. I think the initial process and dry take a good amount of life out the first time..

Oh thank you for the info guys! And yah only double blast nice buds. Trim and bottoms just gets one blast. Sirdabsalot I had to steal ur dome piece picture to send to a buddy, that's too sick!

I must confess my ignorance but what is "blasted" weed. I'v been smoking for over 40 years and growing for 3 plus and I've never heard the term used.Somoene please enlighten me.

Are you seeing heads or stalks remaining? The stalks remain behind after the bulbous heads are gone.

I've run material three times, but not much return for the effort. You might consider a thermos soak, if you continue to miss some.

if anything i makke bubble with it. but usually there isnt mmuch lft after the first blast. just alot of matter and shit comes out th second run. even then when i do bubble. i only collect the last bag. all three other bags are trash

packed my tamisium column and ran 400 g of butane thru a couple zips of weed, reclaimed tane , collected oil and blasted again.
What I found is the second time I ran it I did come up with a couple g of something but it was very dark and I've never run another column twice since.
So to answer , I unpack my column and give it a chuck.

Yeah I'm finding it just makes it darker with only slight increase in yield. Think ima take dbkicks advice and just chuck it. Just make sure tube Is packed tight

I re blast an the color is just as bright as the 1st. And potent and taste and smell. But i freeze the tube packed full and the butane along with the tray.

I've been saving my blasted material too. Thought I would try an alcohol reflux extraction. I would expect a lower THC concentration, but perhaps a material more suited to sleep than intoxicating. The alcohol extracted oil isn't worth smoking with all the chlorophyll in it, but is great for cooking.

Some aren't too keen on its flavor but a second run usually increases the yield by 1-3% and has a more body high. (Do as grey says and keep it separate)

If you run 3oz that's 2 grams.

Iv sieved kief after blasting buds...made me feel gross and anxious. I have also used it to make butter....not great. I have like a lb of blasted trash. Its going into the soil out back. I will let you know next year if nothing ever grows there again and if the kids in the area start growing extra eyes and fingers.

anyone of u guys try doing a dry sieve.. on some material.. so u can add like 30 grams of keif to your tube..and blast that bitch.. and increase ur yields.. I say put keif in with some GREAT SMELLING BUDS.. so u get a nice smelling and huge yield?
