Sup peeps, Gotta quick Q for ya'll. I've been using molasses for a nutrient supplement everyother for the past 1.5 weeks, and I was wondering, if it would be wise to use flowering nutes as well. I have 10-15-10 Schultz plant food (liquid) and was gonna use that but this molasses is making this thing bloom out of control. I see other threads were guys have been flowering around the same time as me and don't have near the white hairs that I do. It could be the strain, but neways do ya'll think this is a smart move. Molasses and nutes. I'm not mixing them together just differnt watering patterns like: water, molasses, water, nutes. Every 4 waterings. Late

I'm not using molasses till flowering...I like a 10-25-20 sort of nute....
higher P.....strain ?..... yes
The molasses fattens up the buds...You nute & put 1/2 teaspoon per gallon every feed.

Thats a good question beeharp. I just started adding molasses myself. I am always afraid of overdoing things and putting too much "stuff" in the water.
I use- apple cider vinegar (to bring down the ph) just a few drops per gallon, I also add nutes, epsom salt, peroxide. But I dont use all that stuff evertime I water. I've been doing ACV, nutes, & epsom salt one watering, and then ACV, H2O2, and molasses the next.
1/2 strength nutes, 1/4 teaspoon of epsom salt, 2 cap fulls of H2O2, and 1 tablespoon molasses. This is all added to tap water that has been sitting out for a few days. So far so good, everythings going well. Plants are all green top to bottom. :)

Man that's a lot of stuff. I'm really not doing the ph balancing of the water, cause it seemed to like its balance just fine. Molasses and the feed should be suffiecent, would a quater teaspoon of honey every other water added with the molasses be too much glucose for the plant. Wanted to added sweetness to the bud, but don't want a nute lockup.

IDK about molasses AND honey. I figure one or the other.
And yeah, that is a lot of stuff lmao. But like I said not all at once, and in small amounts. I wouldn't have mentioned it, but my plants are green and happy top to bottom.:)
I did some cheap ph tests of my tap water. Although i got mixed results, they were all alkaline. So thats why I started using the apple cidar vinegar (which by the way CURES and PREVENTS heartburn instantly) ;)
Just a few drops, maybe 1/8 teaspoon.
Also my pots are 1 gallon pots so gotta keep the roots happy so they dont have to go looking for things ya know?

I know that I have alkaline ph balance of my water. And I do have vinegar that I can add to my water, do you think that adding it now would be anything worthy of doing. I have pics that I will post. She is really starting to yellow in the fan leaves. She's only about 3 weeks into flower and I didn't know if the ph balance is coming into play, or if the natural yellowing of fan leaves during flower stage was the cause. Should I add a couple drops per gallon? Would it hurt? Or am I just stoned right now just bablin and thinkin tooo much?

Another good question lol
Mine are 3 weeks into flower too and there hasnt been any yellowing. I do expect to see yellowing eventually because you're right it is normal ( I hear) during flowering.
BUT, If you know your water is alkaline I definitely think a few drops off vinegar would help. I started getting yellowing when my plants where younger (on the lowest oldest leaves) but I tested the water best i could and decided to start in with the vinegar. The yellowing stopped AND my plants all kind of took off after that.
This is the Ph tester that was recommended to me. I havnt got it YET but i plan too. I think I've been guesstamating pretty good so far.

If you think your water is alkaline maybe try 1/8 teaspoon vinegar per gallon , I think you'll know within 2 or 3 days if the plant liked it or not. Good luck!!

I wouldn't go slinging that vinegar around till I checked the ph after adding the nutes. The stuff I have will bring fairly high ph tap water right into the bullseye using a capful per gallon of water. If it still high after adding the nutes then I would drag out the vinegar..ph down or whutever you use.

Sounds like good advise bigwheel. Exactly what kind of nutes are you using?

Also, I cut off any yellow leaves I had, plus any others that were just not getting any light, like the bottom ones that were totally shaded by the plant. Anyone know if that is a recommended course of action or....was that a bad thing. I'm pretty sure you can get rid of the yellow one's cuz they are not going to turn green again and they're also not benefitting the plant in any way....i think....???

Yeah its coo to prune your ladies, only this is that I wouldn't cut the ones that haven't yellowed yet. Only the yellowing ones get cut but the bottom leaves are dying. I may cut the leaves that are blocking other bud sites, the only thing is leave about a inch of the branch behind and left it close off that way. If you just pluck them from the stem (which I have been doing, the super crispy ones at least) it can cause the plant to shock and hermie. This is the last thing I'm trying to do. I just went and picked up some Miricle Grow Bloom Booster to us when I'm not using my molasses to get this plant back healthy. The way she's supposed to be looking.
