BlackJack CGE Spring 2010

4 days 12/12:

Decided to flip them 4 days ahead of schedule due to their fast growth.

I fear I'm failing as it relates to my ongoing mg issue. I just can not figure out what is causing it.

I topped them for the last time the day I flipped them, they are starting to pick it up again.

I will keep the MH in there for another week or so until I see how mad they stretch ;)

First is a pic of my MG issue:

Time for another update :)
They are at 10 days 12/12, EC is at 1.8, temps are at 76-79, humidity is at 50-60%, co2 is between 1350-1500.
All appears to be well, the strtch is not as bad as last time, so I think managing the lights better along with the topping made a big difference. I switched the bulbs to the HPS yesterday, they are ready for the added lumens.
Their nutrient uptake seems to be higher then last round, so I'm hoping for a bigger yield

Peace, Unity

lookin good unity, about a week away from white hairs.Im coming down the home stretch with my blackjacks,i think im going to go 11 1/2- 12 weeks.I have some that are maturing faster then others.I also have noticed with mine that the middle of the plant seems to mature faster then the tops. And I have 2 different pheno types, and one of them has alot more crystals on her then the other type.Had a power outage lasting almost 35 hours, had to drag out the generator and everything

12 days flower, little buds are forming :)
Things are moving along better then last time, flower onset, I guess is a good five days faster.

Peace

21 Days, they are coming along nicely :)
I would say they are quite a bit faster then my last round. I hope this will continue like this, and my yield should improve.

Temps 76-79
Hum. 45-60%
EC 1.9-1.6
CO2 1200-1600ppm

Peace

30 Days Flower:
Girls are looking great. Just keeping things steady.
My top colas are getting some light bleaching, but I don't care, they are putting nice weight on ;) The canopy is rather even except for 2-3 main colas. Topping was huge here. Comparing what they looked like last time, there is no comparison. They are 50+% larger then last time at this point, we will see if this continues to the end or if they end up about the same when it is all done.

Sorry it to so long to reply to you. These look great. What attribute the increased size from? Its a real visible difference. I'm seeing the same thing.

Cheers Snew :)
I'm at about 48 days at this point and things are good. Gotta manage my light distance a bit better next time, got some nasty bleaching happening. I'm not worried about it though, it is not going to make a difference as to the finished result ;)
I finished with Top Booster this week, the next two weeks they will get some MOAB and then it is flush time ;)
Yield will be improved by at least 30% :)))

Higher PH and multible topping is making the difference. Removing lower growth not so much, it appears the one I did not mess with (other then topping) is doing best.

Here are some pics:

Peace

So, I observed that this strain likes a higher ph 5.9-6.3, not so much touching it and constantly removing stuff, topping it don't mind either. Over all, it is a very resilient strain.

At 50 days:
Started Mother of all blooms yesterday, should have about 21 days left

Damn Unity those are beautiful. I hoping to follow in your path. This is a productive, resilient breed. I am looking forward to trying some new plant. Any you would suggest?

Cheers Snew :) I think yours are yielding far better then mine, but it is a step up from last time ;)
I have some OG clones going for next round, but I'm not sure if they are since they smell VERY skunky even during veg. Either way, one does not want to ignore any strain that can smell like a skunk during clone stage lol.
What have you got cooking?!
Unity

Looking good at 54 days.
