Hey y'all. I have been on a 3 year plan for a long time and am finally eligable for an

upgrade. I love music, so would like the iphone, but I also like bbm a lot (i currently

have a blackberry curve, and already had a iphone 3gs) the reason I like bbm is

because when I talk about business on it it's completely encrypted and no body can

sneak into my shit. Other than that the only reason I like blackberry is the long battery

life. I'm really indecisive when it comes to this shit so please help me make a decision.

ANY AND ALL OPINIONS WELCOME

Peace and love:peace:

The blackberry security encryption feature is only for data and only between a BBM and BBM Powered enterprise server. It doesn't encrypt your voice and it doesn't encrypt things sent between phones.

I know, but here in Canada you can get the new curve's for 300 total, between me and my partner we've given out 6 of these and stuck them on 8/month bbm plans :):):)

i still don't know what to get though lol, thanks for the reply btw

I phone...you'll soon be like Blackberry? What Blackberry? I had a BB tour and I was thinking about getting the torch but I got an android phone and I love it...super awesome! And since it seems that most androids try to compete with the Iphone I would have to say Iphone, because if it can do more than an Android there is nothing it can't do.

I've had android phones since the original HTC Dream...LOVE THEM :D
I waited in line for the Tmobile G1. Which was the original android phone. I love my iphone way more. Apps take the cake, it's the whole experience. I do miss my slide out keyboard sometimes though.

If you were gonna get the BB id get the Bold 9900 series. Its got touch screen and all the pimpin cosmetics including a glass screen and steel bezel. Its like a torch that doesnt look stupid

i would have suggested android but since you seem bent on iphone vs blackberry i wouldn't even consider the blackberry for the simple fact that the keyboards are fucking retarded and the phones are ugly and the screens are too short. i got an evo shift instead of the evo because of the keyboard. touchscreen keyboards sicken me no matter what phone it's on. but i've used iphone and android and i like the android os 100% better.

At the end of the day each person uses different features of these phones more than others. I can say personally the Iphone suits me better as I enjoy the media and applications advantages that this has over the Blackberry. However you were saying you used your BBM a lot for business and as yes that is encrypted that may outweigh the 'media' from the Iphone for you. So as I said, it is in fact down to you, what one is actually better.

After owning a curb, using a iphone, (company supplied over rated) then switching to android ............ I wouldnt have anything else. Makes me wonder how we lived thru motorola razor stage with any of the smartphones, let alone dingle I mean black berries.
Best thing on the market as others said is a real keyboard, cost.
Downfall to iphone anything with any kind of memory cost to much, memory not removable, and well its an apple.
Either way good luck with new phone. Oh FYI when I renewed with sprint, I was able to test 4 different phones, granted over night, 2 I took back same day. Might check with your carriers local service store, they may let you as well, before purchasing.

Out of the 2 iphones I've had I am glad I changed to my new torch, the keyboard is a great feature as it allows for much faster typing w fewer mistakes, I'm not sure but I think bbs are the only phones w data compression. I'm not sure if the new iphone has a flash on the camera like my torch.um let's see I never had a screen protector for the uiphones which is why I got rid of them cuz they can't really take a beating, screen cracked both times and on an ipod touch. The siri feature on iphone seems like a really great feature but out of both of them I would still pick the blackberry.
