Thanks for all the support! The more the merrier I'm having fun putting new stuff up here and inputs always appreciated!.
@Pass - Happy growing to you too! Funny i've been smoking afgoo and OG lately but what's the cross called?? Sounds goood! I wish i could grow outdoor but where i'm at it'd disappear for sure lol.
Funny you said that, My first ever growing MJ plant outdoor Dissappeard one day i came home to water it and Both of my plants were gone. I was sooo pisssd. I was like 2 weeks into flowering. It was only midies seeds. and hada nitrogen deficies. but hey thats what i get for telling a friend.
The strain is call "Gush". Funny name. haha. :bigjoint:

The pots are actually pretty reasonable and there are others now that are even cheaper. C.A.P. makes one iwth handles. veg is 2x4 and flower 4 x 8 but it's not packed b/c veg is small and I don't need that much. Just 8 plants. I think that if I had to choose between big smart pots and little starter ones (instead of cups) I'd get the little ones, I'm telling you the way the roots grow is amazing. Anyway, best of luck I'm gonna make the decision on topping in the next day or so - I'm so tempted to do "uncle ben's" topping technique, where you go all the way down to the 2nd node on seedlings or the 4th branch on clones. Makes sense cause you'd have all of those older strong branches holding the weight of your main colas. I did a seedling down to the second node (after they get 6) and it was hard to so but she looks beautiful. Its a dutch passion strawberry cough seed and you can see 4 perfect tops growing uppus new growth filling up the gap in the middle. I just don'w know if something that aggressive will hurt these. Plus it's just hard to cut like that, but I bet in two weeks I'd be sitting back talking about how great they look!
I saw a pic today of some roots just popping out the bottom of a smart bag I think. Looked insane. Are u working on that strawberry cough seed now? or was this in a previous grow? Never heard of Uncle Bens topping technique I just jacked up topping one of my blackberry kushes so I cut it down pretty far, the only one that wasnt succesfully FIMed. I actually FIMed my FIM. Funny.

very nice set up
Thank u very much!

nothing else to be said or shown? was enjoying reading this,...
Juju incase you didnt catch on this journals only two weeks old. Sorry I cant make these babies grow any faster or.. I would :( lol anyways subscribe, it'll be an enjoyable 2 month journey to awesome buds!!

mmm gush. Hope I can get my hands on that someday. I'd be too paranoid with some 8-10' stanky trees in my backyard, my indoor is too precious to compromise lol. I'd be pissed also to spend all that time and find it gone!!

BTW - Tomorrow I'll post a few more pics. Didnt do much in the room today besides I moved all the larger veggies to the tray that the smaller blackberry kush and OG kush clones were on. Reason being out of the way in the back of the room I'll put my net up pretty soon and let them get out of control since they've vegged about 2 weeks longer than my other ones will be. Can't WAIT to start flowering!!!!

CaLi4NiA3 you got some nice lookin plants. A nice set up too.
How long are you vegging your plants for? (Sorry if you said before)
Thanks Krash sorry I missed this post earlier! Right now the Strawberry Coughs have vegged 3 weeks, The Purps about 4! Blackberry Kush and OG Kush only 1 week so far. I'm going to give them all 2 more weeks before flowering so the Kush catch up. One tray's going to be vegged 2-3 weeks longer than the other so it'll be interesting to see how the yields come out

Kush is gonna smell sooo good. Strawberry coughs are gonna yeild some precious nuggets. i havent yet got to smoke that fine strain yet.
YOur yeilds are gonna be totally diff. haha. those plants that are gonna be vegd 2-3 weeks longer are gonna be huge! when floweein them. btw taking clones would be best for one plant. that is vegging 6 weeks. Goodluck and i just updatd my grow. Check it out, and Update yours hahaha!

Here's a few pic's of the change I made moving the strawberrys to the back tray so they have room to go crazy! I tried to arrange them with the tallest against the wall so they dont block any extra light my smaller ones can catch from the other tray as well.

Everything seems pretty healthy. I was wondering what most people's PPM tends to be around while vegging? I've been giving my babies pretty low doses but I'm about to start bumping it up so they can handle the flowering juices.

Has anyone used H&G CoCos A&B?

The Room just continues to work on its own today! Not much to report just continual growth. I've had the room on 24 hours no mercy for the babies. They're being forced to grow as much as they possibly can. On my days off work I turn the lights off for 6 hours but my timers not reliable enough for me to trust it when I'm not home. I'm not too worried about it till I flower.

Has anyone else ever vegged under 24 hour light? A friend of mine growing The Purps which we got at the same exact time both in coco my pots 4 gal his 2.5ish. My 2 plants are almost 2-3x bigger and bushier than his which were under 18/6 and farther from lights. I havent noticed any negative effects

Hell yea I can't wait to start flowering all the aroma's will be amazing. Good thing i have a HUGE 12" carbon filter. If the longer vegging gives me Huge yield then i'll definately have to take that into account my next run. It diffs by strain though too, but who knows only time can tell :leaf: I guess if I decide to cut my bottom branches before flowering I can clone those?? Haven't really had time to mess with any cloning Maybe i could Lolipop those just go straight 12/12 off the lower branches if they clone? Experiments.. lol

Thanks watt! This is my first run with coco and H&G but they're one of the few lines with a coco specific A&B that I found, and they're pretty well established. I'm only using their A&B its pretty much what my hydro store had that was best at the time. Stick around 12/12 will start in under 2 weeks! I cant wait to see them in about 5 weeks..

ANYWAYS - few more pics taken today. I promise soon I'll have a better camera, definately before flowerin, that's a must have.

Thanks Norma. I was lucky to get those, it was either Strawberry Cough, Ms. Piggy (some GrandDaddy Purp cross I think), or regular Blackberry (not kush) Next run I'm definitely going to try to just get 50 of the same strain. I wanted each table to be a full strain but I'm ok with 4 of The Purps and 5 OG Kush mixed in. Have u tried 18/6 vs 24? I wish I had 2 rooms so I could already be 2 weeks into flowering. Oh well!

Lil Update: Just finished watering the room. I'll upload some new pics soon I'm trying to find the cord for my gf's digital camera. I let them go 4 days without water the coco holds so well. Didn't really even notice any wilting but it was clear they were finally begining to dry out. Bumped up the A&B nuts a little in the SBC's and still just babying the BBK's with vitamin B1.

Any recomendations on preventing any salt build up? I can see on some of the bigger pieces of coco there's some white residue i'd imagine is salt.

Probably about 1 More week till flowering! The Strawberry Coughs look amazing, and the majority of the blackberry's and OG's are catching up. About 5 suck and we hope to replace them but we shall see.

i would guess you would flush but i dunno how coco work so i may be wrong on how to do it.

Thanks for the idea's guys. Today I'm going to do a little flush see how it effects them. Hopefully clear out any buildup from the nuts.

Yesterday I transplanted my last 2 OGKush and headband seed. I'm really hoping the headband turns out female cause I want to grow this guy! Seeds own.

Nothin much going on in their besides veg veg veging. I'm getting really impatient to flip to 12/12. Hopefully no more than a week and we'll be ready! The strawberry Coughs have almost vegged about 4 weeks. They seem to be staying around the same height not growing too fast. Mostly just the lower branches catching up. Seems like every branch is at the top right now on most of them, this will be a fat sea of nugs come flowers. Some plants look like they have up to 8 tops. Hopefully the genetics can support a ton of big tops and not a lot of small colas.

Anybody grown Strawberry Cough, The Purps, OGKush, or Blackberry before?

Or does anyone have any experience with the results of FIMing?

Keep the comments flowing!

:joint: Smokin BLUE DREAM! and a lil SourD. Stay Medicated :)

@ Pass - U must be from CA if you came across a blackberry kush seed! As far as I know those don't exist in seed form just clones. U sure did miss out! Mother that seed and clone it! lol Havent smoked sweet tooth in a looong time. I'd like to grow Blue Dream sometime the nugs ive seen are monstrous, but theres so much of it out here the sale price on pounds makes it not so worth it.

Little Update here after the transplants I got 1 SMART POT! Test this guy out I put an OG kush in it. Can't wait to see what the roots difference is by pot.

In the pics you can also see some brown spots on a few leaves. I'm pretty sure it's from excess water on the leaf and nuts but not 100%. The smaller spots on the top leaves maybe from when I sprayed for mites? I did it right before I turned off the lights but maybe a little still burnt the leaves, not sure. Anyone else had spots like these before?

Also there's pics of my smallest plant who's had a few yellow leaves for a week now. Not so sure on the reason for that either.

Few pics of different pots I'm using, the main tray, leaf burns, blackberry kush plant.
