Black skunk berry #5. Johnstons genetics

Just wanted to share my grow. Strain is black skunk berry #5. Right now I'm on day 46.

i started a thread about growing freebies and this is one of my freebies that sounds wonderful. and you just proved it...

moving this strain onto my planned list.

can't wait to hear what you think of the smoke.

Haha I got it as a freebie to. I grew it last grow under a led and it was week 13 and still wasn't ready. (Only because of the led) my plants now are bigger then that one was when I chopped. Also there was no purple on the led one. But these plants all came from that plant.

I plan on going week 9 and chopping by the looks of it. There's about 5 percent amber. All cloudy.

I have three 1000 watter too.

what's she smell like?

Smell is great. I personally wouldn't grow it again. Just because of the length. (Very short)

The led bud that I got from it was terrible and I turned into bho. Leaving me with 10% if that. Compared to my 25% I usually get.

Only reason growing ten of them was because I took clones before flower on the led one and I figured I'd go at it with HPS.

Last grow I had bully dog Diesel from Johnston genetics and that was a sticky ass plant.

My favorite plant right now to grow is lemon jerffy x Arise. I was getting 7-9 oz off each plant.

by very short, you mean the whole plant?

might change your mind growing them under an hps.

I vegged for 9 weeks which is what I usually do and they are just shorter than I would like.

Switch to 315s for veg and you’ll cut a big piece of that time.

Really? Is that even better then mhs? Because I usually veg under 3 1000 watters. And will have 7 foot monsters with about 8 or more colas a plant.

Each to there own
But I’ve done the math, vegging for a long time n growing stock , doesn’t add up to more bud. When looking at the watts per gram vs time (over the whole process)SOG wins every time.

What you learn after you know it all is what’s counts .

I’d still pick 315s vs 1000 for vegging .

Yes I have two rooms one with a larger ceiling. Those plants were stativas.

I want to stay legal so I only do 10 plants with two mother's at all times. I would love to try SOG though.

I also have a plant count and can’t pull off a SOG,
But I grow for 2 others too, so that let’s me play around more .

There a guy on YouTube that puts 1 plant under a 1000 , does 4 plants in a 10x10 I think. Veg n flower same room tho, be hard moving one around .

What LED did u do the last run with

Two Mars 300 watters

And that was just for one plant. (Side grow)

I think I had like 3 or 4 oz dried. Very airy buds though.
