So since it is clear that nothing is being "Manufactured" with this cannon cob project, any of you led part guru's have the part numbers for cob, heatsink, and driver for those that may be interested in building their own?
Clearly dude been lurking
@nevergoodenuf 's thread.....
I got hooked building single CoB lamps with Mean Well HBG drivers, MechaTronix heat sinks and Citizen emitters. I wanted to build the 240W version and hang it in my greenhouse, but first, I have to get a greenhouse. I did build the 160 version though, in addition to the 100 and 60 watt versions.
I used: Mean Well HBG-160-60B
MechaTronix ModuLED GIGA 152150-B-HBG
HBG-160 connector set
HBG Driver Ring-01
BJB 47.319.4160.50
Citizen CLU058-1825C4-
I bought the optional glass lens and reflector, just to see what I like best. I added a potentiometer, too. So far, the only thing I've illuminated with it is the ping pong table. I might use it for broccoli and tomatoes.
149W at the wall. Without the pot.(use HBG-160-60A), just screw it together and use needle nose pliers to insert the DC wires.
Without optics, or pot., about $130 before tax and shipping. Edit: I somehow attached two of the same photo.
