black hash?

I know there is brown hash and green hash that is more keef like but is there such a thing as black sticky tar hash? I only ask because there has been some people around trying to pass some black resin tar like substance off as hash. They say that its bubble hash because it bubbles when you hold the flame over it. Im pretty sure there is a trick that involves resin, alcohol and the oven? to make it seem like hash with no resin smell or whatever. is this real I did smoke it ontop of bud and by itself and it got me high. but did I get high off hash is the question. thanks
