Yesterday I saw my favorite hydro/garden supply store was having a liquidation sale. So I run home grab 2 gift cards I have to see what's for sale. Turns out they're closing, and now I have to find another place that has a cool cat to let me pet when I'm super high looking for supplies. But I got all this for $110. 1000004812.jpg

Not sure if the thread is pertaining to grow stores closing down? If it is, I'll chime in on that.
I believe it's a trend. First, brick and mortar stores in all sectors of retail are under pressure from the Amazon's and Temu's of the world. Second, legalization of weed has created a glut in these markets, dropping the price considerably. Third, power is more expensive than ever, so unless you grow outside under the big free light, it is becoming more and more cost prohibitive to cultivate indoors. The small city I live in had a grow supply store up until last week. It's gone, and I don't see anyone trying to open another considering all the factors.

The two grow shops near me seem to be doing better since legalization but have higher prices than Amazon and don’t carry bulk supplies for soil growing. The feed and landscape supply has been doing much more business since covid and has or will order anything I need in bulk for very reasonable prices. When I see products advertised for use in cannabis I just assume the markup is 10 fold and search for the same product elsewhere.

They had such good prices too. But yeah they're losing out to stores online. It's sad to have something that's a huge help just disappear.
